Ok guys, maybe really baaad news! Not all Steels confirmed...but some are confirmed (T3, Machete, Fast, Hanna) and amazon changed all the artworks(removed the j-card), so i list all possible steels of the wave!

Ok, so i dont own Salt and got only a damaged Grren Hornet! But thats not a wave for us collectors! I am really angry! Why the hell they only produce rereleases, Warner, Sony...all the same!

I as a collector want movies in steels without a steelbook release yet!

how can these re-releases devalue the originals? The best way to know the difference is the year they are packaged, all of these were packaged before 2012 so all of these re-releases will have the year 2012 package design on the j-card or the steelbook

Zombieland : One of the only few to just "wait and see"

Tränen der Sonne : People who value the blue banner wont want this ...and English speaking folks can just wait out for a better version that Play will probably release some day.I've had both SPR's from DE and Play and Play's is 10x better! Case in point.

Terminator 4 : This may hurt the German market ; but English title steels sell better and are more sought after so this one doesnt hurt the majority. Itll probably also be inferior to the previous German one and then it affects nothing.

2012 Had a ton printed the world over ; this reprint affects nothing. 2012 isn't going for crazy prices nor will it ever.

World Invasion Had a ton printed in USA ; and besides that the Japan one is now the one to have anyways and a reprint wont affect that elsewhere due to Japan's slip.

Salt One of the most widespread steelbook releases elsewhere , there is so much qty out there and all same steelbook that no one should care if they reprint this anyways.

The Green Hornet: Pretty sure this will lack, and it if does or doesnt have emboss/deboss then no collectors will want this.

The Da Vinci Code : The original has still been obtainable for cheap even off .de earlier this year and possibly even still ... so again, who cares.

Underworld Evolution Who cares, never has been coveted nor ever will be

Machete Already looks different ; I think the old one will be better quality wise and this isnt a huge sought after title anyways.

Faster : Underated film, should be worth more than what it is, but regardless its not currently. Hopefully the reprint is different or inferior ... and folks who dont own this movie or havent seen it ... really should! And the original steelbook is amazing.

These steels to me are not for collectors, they are for regular consumers hence their cheap prices. If anything it might bring more consumers over to the collector side.

This wave looks absolutely horrific. Cheap and nasty looking. Rumoured no inside art either. Horrible blu ray logos on front too.

I really don't understand re-releasing the same title with same artwork.

WTF has happened to German steels recently? Seems to be a quantity thing. Quality has gone.

The Machete one is a good example of the quality. I have the HMV one and it's one of my favourites steels. Something not right with the German one.

I just laugh every time Germany re-releases some titles. There's always an uproar and the logos end up being printed. it should be the same. this will not affect the value as always. for the pessimists, just wait and see if these will be exactly the same as the original. Germany, arguably the largest producer of steelbooks,in the end will come thru IMO

Can't agree on that unfortunately. Whats the incentive for anyone who wants this steel to pay well over $100 (more like $150), when now they can get it for $30 at most? I mean if these are indeed identicle, is something worth 5X more, just because its the "original"? I don't know about that. What I think will probably happen is people will buy this Zombieland re release in droves, because they know that this is one of the rarer, and more desireable titles to have. The fact that now they can have it for 1/5 the price will sell these out quick. I for one won't buy this title, and support this nonsense. Besides, I like the Play.com version much better anyways.

Yes, the originals are still worth more than the reprints. Sucker Punch DE, I Am Legend CA, Dark Knight CA, and Batman Begins CA are just a few that are a lot more valuable than their reprints.

The Play version will hurt the original more than this re-release.

How do you know, it's just an artwork to show the product. It might not be the final product.

look at the spine. the spine on this two pictures is a bit different. and i just looked at my world invasion: battle los angeles steelbook and the 2nd picture without fsk print is definitely from the first release!!!!

i think the whole wave will have printed logos. if not, they would have used promopictures with j-card or they just could use the same pictures of the first release.

if you look at the above list of steels,the ones that can be pre-ordered don't have the removable logos and the ones YOU CAN'T ORDER shows the steels that have removable logos....

Lets hope you're right buddy. I'm not rooting for this to be exactly identicle to the original either. I've read that maybe one will have that FSK logo, and the other won't. Even that I think will be enough. Hell, if people are paying massive premiums for Japanese and Korean steels, just because they got those Kanji scripts, why wouldn't a logo be enough? I just know that somethings gotta be different about the 2, however small it is, its gotta be different. I'm extremely wary of these German releases anyways. Ever since they did the exact same thing to RE Quad, I have not gotten a German steel since. Very untrustworthy, as you can see by almost this entire wave.
