to tewll you the truth I think these were originally stolen from there but I'm not sure. I have been there but there were so many different set-ups posted that I just gave up on em and went with this one that someone posted on the PS3forum. I'm pretty happy with the setup right now but i haven't watched a Blu yet. this weekend will be the test.

They should of a designated best setting, that everyone else has tried and likes the best..

i still havent watched a blu butwe watched an SD-DVD tonight and it looked awesome wit these setttings but then we played a little Rock Band and ehese settings made the scolling all chunky and unnatural. kinda sucked. i had to turn offthe cenemotion tos get it bck to normal. i asume i would have to do that for COD ad BF as well. Will be watching a lu tomorrow. will let you now how it is.

PS...sarry fpr the drunken post.

just watched my first Blu with the new setting (Assassination of Jesse James....) and I should have done this months ago. WOW, it looks amazing. I am so happy and I never saw a ghosting once in the whole 2 hours and 39 minutes, haha. I now LOVE my TV. Only one issue now, eveery now and then you can see some distorion around the characters bodies, heads, etc. as they move across the screen. Usually when there is alot of stuff in the background like trees. I thought maybe this has something to do with the "edge enhancement" setting but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I have that Calibration disc. Big difference compared to if you just do it by yourself. I say you go get that disc and do it to your taste.

Does it look just as good for games?, I did that setting and the movies look good but some games are too dark and I find myself switching to Vivid.
