Granted, the desktop is actually a MacBook, but still.

You might have some "add-blocker" or something that is prohibiting the links to load.
Similar behavior I have with links here from "facebook" or "instagram" (which I purposely block by default everywhere).

No Amazon links you have to post the url link into text so for everyone a link will work

Only thoses with a apple device iPhone/Mac PC/iPad etc will see amazon paste links work been that way since January 2024 on HDN
Those not using a apple device will see a broken preview image instead and no link to click

The reason the paste links worked for you is you are using a MacBook a Apple Device

When posting any amazon links in any thread on HDN use the text method instead with link inserted into the text (As in what we do with OP links) so those that don't use a apple device a link will work
