I haven't played the game yet, but i heard it's fantastic.

It is! My nephew plays this game constantly. It basically mashes together every action/fantasy/adventure game you can think of into one.
I really hope they’ve got a big budget lined up for the movie because adapting Split Fiction is going to be a massive undertaking

Just watch the game trailer, It’s like Ready Player One, but in game form.
Tons of references too: Metroid Prime, Harry Potter, Alita, SSX, Super Mario, Halo, Dark Souls, Borderlands, Final Fantasy, Tron, Sailor Moon, Donkey Kong, Dune, Akira... far too many to mention.
