Me too, I tend to pre order steels I want that I don't think will will last long, I pretty much only have pre orders now for steels that are sold out. Stand by me was one of the ones I wanted to make sure I had.. but zavvi could've waited 5 minutes before reducing the price

They normally reply within 3-5 days. I don't think Zavvi are a huge hassle when it comes to handling of replacements but refund can be a bit slow but certainly better than Kimchi.

So they will ask you to send the damaged item back in order to get a replacement, but Zavvi only pays up to the cost of 15% of the item for return shipping (if it's a $10 item, they will only cover $1.50 for return shipping). Tell them ASAP the cost of sending the item back to the UK (should be about $20 via USPS first class international) and that you can't ship the damaged item back unless they are willing to pony up the dough. They will then send you a replacement, free of charge and you can keep the damaged one (or donate it to your local Goodwill).
