This is a blind buy for me as I've never once seen this series, I hope it's good. Also going off previous series history of other franchises from Best Buy I'm hoping that they continue this series on steelbook every season.

You should at least watch a couple of episodes to form a better opinion.
It didn’t work for me After 10 episodes I stopped watching.
Maybe I’m getting old or so and I’m used to a different kind of Star Trek.

Give it until episode 10. Ep9 ends the first chapter and 10 begins the second. If you're not hooked by that mid-season "two-parter" you'll never be
