CBS All Access today announced a series order for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will feature fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery, Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the decade before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

I gotta say, its my favorite thing they've released for Star Trek in the last decade. I absolutely love it.

Nice so you should be getting to Strange New Worlds soon then?

I read somewhere that its over 650 hours of content to watch all of Trek... Thats insane.
Best of luck!

Daaang dude. You did All Enterprise and Discovery 1&2 in the last two weeks?

Lol no. Look at my previous post. It was implied I had already seen Discovery, which is when I decided to go back and start from the beginning but didn't do Discovery again.

I was actually half way through Enterprise earlier this month. S4 was quite disappointing and even more so the way they ended it.

Speaking of Discovery, have you seen the Trek Shorts? Some of them were quite nice.

Just finished season 2 on the weekend.
This series has been so consistently good. I absolutely love it.

Slight spoilers (but they have been widely shown by now):

From the Lower Decks crossover to the Musical episode this show just works on every level for me. The season finale was amazing too. I hate that we are probably going to have to wait a year for season 3.
