Todd’s no stranger to Star Wars, as his previous portrait series focused on fun portrait work against psychedelic designs and papers. Continuing that aesthetic exploration of Star Wars, Todd’s newest print is a full-sized alternative movie poster for A New Hope. Combining his excellent portraiture work with distinct patterning and color elements, Todd’s poster for A New Hope is a trippy take on a beloved classic.

Todd Slater Strikes Back!

Todd returns to his Star Wars series with a trippy print for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Todd’s unique exploration of Star Wars features psychedelic colors against patterned lines that create an almost kaleidoscopic quilt of an image. Beyond his incredible coloring, Todd’s portrait work is both impressive and singular, and we’re so happy to see him continue to play in the full-size alternative movie poster sandbox.

As with Todd’s previous release, there are a few variants, all of which showcase Todd’s excellent image in fun ways. Also, we’re steadily working away on a Diorama edition of Todd’s A New Hope image, and previous buyers of Todd’s art will have first dibs on it!
