All new Star Wars movies got 3D steelbook, except The force awakening: for some reasons Disney released the 3D edition a few months later than the 2D edition, without steelbook but with a nice digipack

Unlikely, they never do early access on new releases like this, always seems to be midnight for everyone. I don't think they are allowed start taking orders before it's released in the cinema which might be why.
