Double sided Lenticular would do for me AA it is the one and only edition containing all the discs.

from on the outside starring in that would seem to be there only cock up *hopefully* they will learn for future star wars, premium editions should contain ALL discs. your paying the premium so you expect the lot.

p.s. also just read on other site there is talk of GOTG vol 2 blu fans as a *possible* from a horses mouth :D:D:D
be looking forward to match my first release

basil

Kinda an obvious with GOTG2.

As for the releases I'd rather there be less discs and cheaper prices as with most titles they wait to be like the last to release and by then I already own the discs in other editions. So I really just want the sexy packaging.

But i mean much cheaper, otherwise if we're just talking $5 discounts then bring on the discs ha.

Agree, guardians 2 is a guarantee aswell as Thor 3 and possibly spidey homecoming (let's face it blufans will always release marvel new titles)

Yeah they could of easily dropped the bonus disc. I'm pretty sure everyone has that

Different content?

Happy if that's the case because I already have that twice in the US and nova steel
It should be the same bonus disc that was with the 3D collectors edition the extra 30 min it's the exclusive extras that was previously with the target release (digital code to stream exclusive bonus content)and other exclusive retailer bonus extras
The 3D collectors Edition Bonus Disc has all these previously exclusive extras on the Disc itself

The bonus disc artwork though in the beauty shot shows the previous bonus disc that was in the WWA steelbook hopefully that just an error in the beauty shot as the new bonus disc that was in the collectors 3D edition had different artwork on the bonus disc

Yeah, don't worry about the countless hours that @apsmith21 put into actually creating and building the new GB system; or the amount of time and effort that I've put in being able to secure the GB for HDN as well as the time creating and managing the 4, instead of 1, GB threads......

;)

Well maybe that's why you shouldn't fix something that wasn't broken to begin with. However much time was spent creating this new GB system, I'm sure you saved way more time in wrapping, boxing, taping and mailing all the purchases under the old system. If I'm correct, I believe that's what some GB hosts like Drum and Biscuit had to do for their GB's. Not to mention having to pay for the packaging materials like tape and bubble wrap out of their own pockets as well. If I'm mistaken, please correct me in this. Since Blufans is now handling all that, that more than compensates for the amount of time that was spent creating this new system. I'm not ungrateful, just sayin.

I didn't even know the 3D release had the 30 min extra bonus material so that's all news to me and happy it comes with this because i never bought that.

Cheers for the info Mr Boland

I heard the print run is 3500. These are actually not selling quick as anticipated The demand for Single sided and Full Slip editions are poor.

Also Blufans have the habit of doing mega GB for leftovers.

Double sided Lenticular would do for me AA it is the one and only edition containing all the discs.

Whatever the eventual print run proves to be, this release makes all the other releases before it "obsolete", in terms of collectibility that is. I'm not just saying that because this is the only version of this film I will own. The WEA gives this release meat and substance, not just some gimmicky slip or stickers. It literally stands apart from all others release before it. In terms of shear collectibility and desirability, this IS the one to get. So if your sitting there on the fence, what the hell are you waiting for? Get this before it's gone. It gonna sell out, it's Star Wars, that's a given.

All GBs use the new system, but when a retailer like KimchiDVD who does not ship direct, I still have to unpack, repack etc etc. Same goes for other hosts like carllenc who has to repackage for Film Arena releases.

Blufans ship direct, and have done for some time even under the old system so that doesn't change anything so no, it does not compensate for the time that was spent creating the new system, far from it.

Wonder how long before we see sample pics of the actual Steelbook, they're normally previewed before the beauty shots

Hope it lives up to the picture I have in my head :D
