Haha :) . Yeah, I like the new system. Still, I got a kick out of looking at the spreadsheet data - it let me know who paid and who turned out to be a deadbeat lol. It sort of validated my efforts to pay early  Right now, my Star Wars Blufans payment info just tells me that my $30 deposit has been validated but there's nothing on the $170 I paid a few days later. At least on the spreadsheet that info was posted (most of the time). Not a big deal - the new system works great!

Yeah that's the only downside by doing the deposit option

How long does this title ship after the GB closes? Is it a few weeks after, or months and months after? I've read a lot of post on the desirability and collectibility of this steel. The true measure of how desirable cannot be measured at this very moment. Retailers are pumping out Star Wars steels like toothpicks to capitalize on the hunger for all things Star Wars. As consumers, we are overwhelmed with the number of releases that are popping up every other day. You gotta think of how desirable this steel is down the road, when no more physical media is produce. Is it gonna be this title, with its unique WEA, or the dozens of identical clones, with token slips and stickers? That's the true way of evaluating the desirability of this steel.

Just wondering if many people have been stung by import tax in the UK from ordering from blufans from a gb? just thinking if i need to put extra money aside haha☺

Personally I've not been hit by customs on any imports so far (and I've had several 1clicks and singles from Blufans, Manta, Kimchi, Nova and HDZeta)but other people have said that they get caught out quite often. So I guess it's just a case of order and hope. :)

BluFans typically mark as a lower value, but there's no guarantee that you will always escape import tax.

It's just bad luck on the day if you get hit as they select a % of parcels from China and Korea to inspect and the rest pass through without inspection
You can go months not been hit by customs then have a run of orders been hit by customs for VAT
German customs seams to more strict than other European Countries

Sometimes they just inspect the parcel and let it pass without questioning the marked price and other times they will question it

I have 11 Blufans releases and got hit 2 times by customs on 2 separate releases
1 parcel in 2015 and 1 parcel in 2016

I don't order One Clicks as that has high risk of been questioned by customs especially in Rep of Ireland

UK Customs looks to be less strict than Rep of Ireland and Germany and some other EU countries Customs
But you will always have the risk of your parcel marked price been questioned

Some customs will in some countries will at times have parcels from likes of Kimchi from Korea to be closely watched but it's still all luck on the day or bad luck

Thanks Paul, hopefully I will get beginners luck for my first import and skip the fees

Its almost inexcusable not to help out their patrons with a lower declared value. Charging $200 for 3 steelbooks and not helping out with customs can cause a guy to reconsider ever purchasing a 1 click ever again.

They can lose their ability to post abroad as well as facing legal action. Definitely not inexcusable. Blufans is not forcing anyone to purchase their products.

I'm looking forward to this 1 click non shoe box for once. Be interested to see the quality of the box set. If it's thumbs up I can be tempted in Rogue one as well, and the last Jedi...:ohno:

Declaring $30 for 3 steelbooks is not out of the question. Custom won't know any better. You think they're experts at premium steelbook pricing? As matter of fact $30 for 3 steelbooks is way more believable than $200.
