Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure game set after Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith™. During EA Play 2018, Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella, as he previously indicated earlier this week, gave a few brief bits of info revealing what Star Wars project the company is currently working on.

Zampella said that the game is called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and detailed that the game will take place in between Episode III and Episode IV, in the “dark times when the Jedi are being hunted.” While exact gameplay details weren’t shared just yet, Zampella did say that you will get to play as the Jedi, in some capacity, though we’ll surely get more specific details on the game as it gets closer to release.

In addition to the name and setting, Zampella said that the game is currently targeting a release window of Holiday 2019, though no exact platforms for the game were announced at this time.

I was a little disappointed with the gameplay to be honest... either the character is super OP, or the AI are way too weak -- I've seen paper bags with more fight in them! Also, the in-game cut scenes looked terrible graphic-wise, but I imagine that's something they're still working on, so no biggie there. I just hope they make it a little more challenging than what that gameplay showed. I do like the style of it though and the main character seems interesting! Hopefully the story itself won't disappoint.

Just watched the E3 gameplay and it looks pretty damn good to me, very much along the lines of the Battlefront 2 story mode style with a few extras.

This will definitely be a game that ill be getting upon release.

You have to take into account that it's still in Alpha, it's going to look buggy and character movement restricted.

I understand that and even pointed it out in my post lol. But it's a bad call to show a game off when it still has so many remaining issues IMO... I watched the livestream and the comments were full of people saying the same thing, so I'm certainly not the only one who felt this way. Of course I'm still excited for it though! :D

I don't understand, I payed for it through Origin with PayPal which is part of EA and it's not showing up in PayPal anywhere, like the transaction never took place. It's in my Origin app as an owned game and just waiting for release date to download. So I don't understand why there's no record of it?

EDIT: Nevermind I found this in their FAQs.
If you’re using a credit card or PayPal, we’ll take your payment up to seven days before the game launches. Make sure your payment method is up to date on your account so your pre-order doesn’t fail.

Nice illustration, but I'd rather they just used the regular cover art on the steel like they've done previously with Battlefront.
