Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu - In theaters May 22, 2026

Probably echoing a lot of folks here: it was good, quite good really I thought. I think if I was a kid, I would say it was great though. This one is firmly pitched at the younger among us. Still, as an oldie, I firmly enjoyed it.

One thing I will say: it has some amazing Star Wars worldbuilding in it. I LOVED being immersed in that universe for a time and did they ever do a good job. The movie looks and sounds amazing… like a Star Wars movie should. The model-work, sets and props, even the CGI is done very, very well.

Glad I went to see it in the theatre.

Happy to have Star Wars back in theaters where it belongs.

Saw this opening day, I thought it was good, but not great, just good. I think this could have easily fit into a four part series next season though. Anyway, it's worth a watch if you're on the fence about it.
