Let's ask @Wreck and see if maybe he knows a contact person at Disney. To be perfectly honest I'd just return the whole thing while you can and get a replacement on the same thing.

Yeah I'm really thinking about it, but the replacement could have the same issue... I wrote [email protected] an email, who seem to be responsible for DVD inquiries etc.

Is that disc in any of the uk TFA editions ? cause to be honest, faster would be to order (from same retailer) then switch those discs and return. I would not advise this ethically from a private seller and if possible same retailer. I wouldnt advise it from a small business retailer either. The larger ones sell the movies for the studios as opposed to them buying up front, so you would essentially be righting the wrong without having to send back a more costly edition which they would then have to send to returns which get sent back or liquidated.

The same bonus disc came in the 3d Edition in UK. The only different i can see is that the disc art isnt Grey like in this edition.

The 2D release bonus disc in Force Awakens release from April 2016 has less extras than the 3D bonus disc release

My estimated delivery date has now changed to May 2

My estimated delivery was previusly Monday April 20 then 27th

If amazon had of used An Post instead I would of had delivery on Monday 27th April

This better not arrived damaged as I had issues before when DPD was used with my some Amazon orders in 2019


Amazon used An Post for my Star Wars Rise of Skywalker Slipcover editions they will arrive on Monday

I expect I will very likely having to get a replacement sent going by previous issues with DPD

I need to get a cheap 4k Bluray player anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about getting a Sony player.

It’ll be artificially upscale in any event.
In my experience the difference between 4K artificial upscaling on televisions is indistinguishable from on-disc 4K.

But at the same time- I don’t see the point of getting films on 4K? Since they don’t actually exist in 4K.

Let's ask @Wreck and see if maybe he knows a contact person at Disney. To be perfectly honest I'd just return the whole thing while you can and get a replacement on the same thing.

Is that disc in any of the uk TFA editions ? cause to be honest, faster would be to order (from same retailer) then switch those discs and return. I would not advise this ethically from a private seller and if possible same retailer. I wouldnt advise it from a small business retailer either. The larger ones sell the movies for the studios as opposed to them buying up front, so you would essentially be righting the wrong without having to send back a more costly edition which they would then have to send to returns which get sent back or liquidated.

The same bonus disc came in the 3d Edition in UK. The only different i can see is that the disc art isnt Grey like in this edition.

I'd actually forgotten about this (been super busy lately), so thanks for reminding me lol. Gonna contact Amazon now and see what they say... if they can't replace the disc, then I'll request a full set replacement.

As for the 3D edition released in the UK... I gave my copy away during Ninja Week last year. Would bug me not having the proper disc from the set though, especially with it having coloured art rather than B&W like the rest. Was a good suggestion though, so thanks again!

Its not just about the resolution. 4k is one thing whether a film is truly filmed in 4k or not but the main difference is HDR or Dolby Vision, that's what makes a massive difference in viewing especially on special effects heavy movies

Watching a 4k UHD movie via a 4k UHD player on a modern TV such as an OLED with HDR/Dolby Vision is like night and day between watching a standard blu ray on an older set, especially if the film was filmed digitally.

Anyone else have sync issues with sound? I've only watched Phantom menace and Rise of Skywalker so far but when i pause and then play the sync goes out and i have to turn the player off and on again. I'm using a Samsung UBD-M9500 and an Onkyo atmos system
