I do like these, but they are hideously overpriced - even for star wars sets. Having picked up the Globe, Awesome, BMW Bike, Home Alone, Tumbler, UCS AT-AT, Titanic, Original McLaren F1, DeLorean, HulkBuster (eBay), Bricklink Great Fishing Boat (eBay), Pickup Truck, Colosseum, Vespa plus around 3000 bricks for a Battlestar Galactica Viper Mk2 MOC in the last few months, I'm going to give these a miss.

I hear what you are saying. It feels like the last few sets were like 70% cost of pieces. Like if it was 1000 pieces it would go for like $70 but now feels like 1 piece per $1.

That said the detail as the years go gets so minute, the first x-wing i had was like jusnt under 400 pieces the poe one from a few years ago was like 800 so they just fit a bit more detail using more smaller pieces. I personally like the X-Wing run one the most

The trench run is pretty awesome - I may look to part it out with bricks I already have, as I don't believe there's anything exclusive apart from the printed title brick

The LEGO Group announces the new epic LEGO® Star Wars™ Luke Skywalker™ Landspeeder™ set – the latest in the LEGO Ultimate Collector Series (UCS). A faithful recreation of Luke’s battered vehicle, the new 1,890-piece model is a must have for Star Wars and LEGO fans alike.

X-34 Landspeeders were typical civilian transports, designed to withstand the roughest terrains. The Landspeeder was first seen in Star Wars: A New Hope™, where Luke used the vehicle extensively as part of his farm work, travelling across Tatooine’s™ harsh deserts. Accompanied by C-3PO™, Luke used the Landspeeder to locate R2-D2™, when he was discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi™. It was also the vehicle they were travelling in when Obi-Wan used a Jedi™ mind trick to get past stormtroopers guarding entry into Mos Eisley™. Eventually Luke sold the Landspeeder to pay for his transport to the planet Alderaan™.

The LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder building set is 49 centimetres long when complete and features the two-seater cockpit, the turbine engine without a cover, the iconic curved cockpit windscreen plus an exclusive C-3PO™ minifigure (with 2K moulded legs and a side print) and Luke minifigure – complete with lightsaber.

This much-anticipated set makes for the perfect piece to display and show off your love of Star Wars and LEGO building. Even the unboxing is a fun journey within itself, with the vibrant packaging showing off the intricate details of the final built set from several different perspectives.

The new set forms part of the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets, which also include the Millennium Falcon™, the A-Wing, the Republic Gunship, and the recently released AT-AT™.

The Landspeeder buiding set has been expertly created by LEGO set designer César Carvalhosa Soares. Discussing the design, César said, “It’s been an amazing adventure creating Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder in LEGO brick form. It is such an iconic vehicle in the Star Wars saga. We’ve ensured no detail has been forgotten and have even included some of the scratches. The finished product makes an incredible display and is the perfect addition to the UCS collection.”

The LEGO Star Wars Landspeeder set is available for LEGO VIPs (LEGO.com/VIP) from 1st of May 2022 and everyone from 4th May 2022 from LEGO Stores and LEGO.com/star-wars, at the recommended retail price of $199.99 / £174.99 / € 199.99

Lego has obviously always had some great Star Wars sets but recently they have been pumping out some brilliant collector's pieces

The LEGO Group is thrilled to reveal their latest Star Wars™ Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) - the LEGO® Star Wars Razor Crest construction set based on the starship from the beloved series The Mandalorian. The new LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Razor Crest set measures an impressive 72cm long, making it the biggest-ever LEGO model of the starship, and is ready to take you on bounty-hunting adventures across the galaxy!

Made up of 6,187 pieces and rich in details, the LEGO Star Wars Razor Crest set includes removable engines and a cockpit, an escape pod, and a minifigure-size carbon-freezing chamber, as well as minifigures featuring the characters of Grogu™, the Mandalorian™, Mythrol™, and Kuiil™ on a buildable Blurrg™ model. Once built, you can proudly display your LEGO Star Wars creation with an innovative stand and information plaque.

The Mandalorian series is a global phenomenon. The adventures take place five years after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™ and follows Din Djarin™, a lone Mandalorian making his way through the lawless galaxy with his foundling, Grogu.

The Razor Crest is Din Djarin’s personal transport and its iconic silhouette is immediately recognisable. Now in LEGO form, it joins other vehicles in the LEGO Star Wars UCS line-up, including the Luke Skywalker™ Landspeeder set and the Republic Gunship™ set.

Cesar Soares, LEGO Designer, commented, “It was amazing to design The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest in brick form! I wanted it to be ultra-detailed so that every Star Wars and LEGO fan can enjoy discovering all the exciting features – from the carbon-freezing chamber to the escape pod. I know that fans of the Star Wars galaxy, builders and more will love recreating their favourite adventures from this extraordinary series".

The LEGO Star Wars™ Razor Crest Ultimate Collector Series set is available for LEGO VIP members from 3rd October and to all from 7th October at www.lego.com/Razor-Crest and LEGO Stores at the recommended retail price of £519,99/ €599,99/ $599.99.

LEGO® Star Wars fans can celebrate four decades of Return of the Jedi by recreating iconic moments from Episode VI in two new diorama building sets, marking major moments from the classic film
As Star Wars Celebration kicks off this weekend in London, The LEGO Group has today announced two new diorama building sets featuring iconic scenes from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi for LEGO Star Wars fans, to mark 40 years since the film’s original release.
LEGO® Star Wars fans will be able to re-build the iconic final duel between Luke Skywalker™ and Darth Vader™ in the Emperor’s Throne Room, or descend to the forest floor and recreate the action-packed Endor Speeder Chase, with each set packed with recognizable characters and the chance to re-create memorable moments.

The 807-piece Emperor’s Throne Room diorama building set is an accurate LEGO brick representation of Emperor Palpatine’s Throne Room on the re-built Death Star™ featured in Return of the Jedi, including its instantly recognizable window, the Emperor’s chair and many other details.
Also included in the set are three Minifigures featuring the characters Luke Skywalker™, Darth Vader™ (both with their lightsabers) and Emperor Palpatine™, whose lightsaber and bolts of Sith lightning are hidden on the underside of the model. The Minifigures can be placed in different positions on the diorama to replicate different moments from the scene.

For fans journeying to Endor, the 608-piece Endor Speeder Chase diorama brings to life the high-speed action amongst the lush forest floor, with Luke Skywalker™ racing on a speeder bike between the trees.

The set includes three Minifigures based on the characters, Luke Skywalker™, Princess Leia™ and a Scout Trooper, and sees builders recreate the two speeder bikes and forest environment, from greenery on the ground to Endor’s tall tree tops.
These two new diorama building sets are highly detailed and each features a printed display plaque with a movie quote, making perfect display pieces for fans to add to their LEGO Star Wars collection and mark four decades since the original trilogy in the Skywalker Saga concluded.

“It’s hard to over-state the impact that Return of the Jedi has had on popular culture since its release 40 years ago, and it was a real pleasure as a fan to help create these new dioramas that celebrate some of the film’s most iconic moments,” said Jens Kronvold Frederiksen, Design Lead for LEGO Star Wars.
“Whether you were in the cinema for Return of the Jedi's original release or came to discover it later, these two dioramas allow builders to recreate and display their own slice of cinematic history - and revealing them to fans, at the same time as many are enjoying Star Wars Celebration, is the perfect way to unveil them.”

The LEGO Star Wars portfolio introduced diorama building sets of iconic franchise moments in 2022, with three scenes including the Death Star™ Trench Run Diorama 75329, Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama 75330 and Death Star™ Trash Compactor Diorama 75339.
The 807-piece LEGO Star Wars – Emperor’s Throne Room and 608-piece LEGO Star Wars – Endor Speeder Chase diorama building sets are available to pre-order from April 7th, and available to purchase from May 1st from www.LEGO.com/Star-Wars and LEGO retailers priced at €99.99 / $99.99 / £89.99 and €79.99 / $79.99 / £69.99 respectively.

The LEGO Group today announced the new Star WarsTM Ultimate Collector Series X-wing StarfighterTM building set. Based on the iconic T-65 X-wing Starfighter from the Star Wars saga, the new 1,949 piece LEGO Star Wars set is highly detailed and includes the Incom 4L4 fusil thrust engines and the Taim & Bak KX9 laser cannons.

The X-wing Starfighter was designed by the Incom Corporation for use by the Rebel Alliance in long missions and dog fights. First seen in Star Wars: A New Hope, the X-wings were manned by elite pilots in the Rebel Alliance – including Luke Skywalker. In the same film, the Rebel Alliance deployed the X-wings in the Battle of Yavin, where Luke joins the Red and Gold Squadrons as call-sign Red Five, alongside Biggs and Porkins, in an attempt to destroy the Empire’s Death Star.

In one of cinema’s most iconic scenes, the battle ends with a tense moment between Luke and Darth Vader in the Death Star trench – where Luke has one chance to fire his seemingly impossible shot into the exhaust port that is “not much bigger than 2 metres”, and destroy the Empire’s ultimate weapon.

At over 55cm / 21.5” long, the new LEGO Star Wars X-wing Starfighter set is the perfect addition to the Ultimate Collector Series, joining the AT-ATTM, Millennium FalconTM, RazorcrestTM and Luke Skywalker’s LandspeederTM building sets. Once complete, fans can display the X-wing model with either the wings open or closed. Plus, it comes complete with Luke Skywalker and R2-D2TM astromech droid minifigures, and a display plaque with technical details about the X-wing.

“Whilst this is not the first time we have brought the X-wing Starfighter to brick life, this is the most detailed and I am so excited with the final design. It is such an iconic ship, by designing at this new larger scale we were able to include more specific details such as the thrusters, the cockpit and the wings. We are so excited to now share this with fans.” said Henrik Andersen, LEGO Design Master.

The new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter set will be available from 1st May for LEGO VIP members exclusively on LEGO.com/star-wars and in LEGO Stores priced at €/$239.99 £209.99 and for everyone from 4th May. But fans won’t have to wait that long to get up close to the new set – as it will be on display exclusively at the forthcoming Star Wars Celebration event in London from 7th – 10th April 2023, at the LEGO booth. In addition, Celebration attendees will be able to get their hands on the new LEGO Star Wars™ BrickHeadz Battle of Endor building set (40623) which features Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Lando Calrissian, an Ewok and Princess Leia-inspired LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz, before it is available anywhere else. Plus, stay tuned for more exciting LEGO Star Wars announcements at the event.
