Ahh, I see. Actually looks good to me which is why the price surprised me.

LMAO!

Thanks man. :)

I think it is possible. Maybe CG Leia in.

I'm seeing way to many little clips man. Trying to avoid them as much as possible.

Ok, I need this Vader in my collection!

Yeah, he is.

I think this EFX helmet look great too! Especially for the price. And I'd bet if someone put this one and the Legend next to each other I probably couldn't even tell the difference by looking at them. But I'm sure one of those screen accuracy nerds would come out and tell me how blind I am. I swear those people ruin everything LOL.

If they CG Leia in this and she looks good I'm going to be really pissed that they didn't do that with the Han movie so they could have kept Harrison.

I see a Rogue One commercial at least once an hour now when I watch TV. I swear I think this thing is getting more advertising than TFA.

How's the weather out there by you? Its seriously ball freezing cold outside here, and has been snowing for almost 24 hours straight.

Cold! And wet! We had it easy last year and now mother nature is making up for it, lol! It snowed here a few days ago. Roughly 10" or so. This week will be dry and sunny though but below freezing. Still will be taking MAUL for a ride.

Yeah, same here. It made me wonder if the movie was on some sort of trouble because that's what big movies that aren't good do. They over advertise. But, with all the positive news coming in, I guess that isn't the case thankfully. I still can't believe we are getting a new Star Wars movie every year.

Yeah, I dunno. Will be interesting to see. Same with Tarkin.

You know it is funny because the casual person doesn't care. I guess I'm one because that helmet looks good to me man.

Whoa! Thats a pretty big storm. I definitely won't be seeing or hearing any motorcycles around here till at least March if not April. From now on it will either be below freezing, below zero, or below zero with a wind chill thats super below zero.

I think with SW its safe to say all of the new movies will receive a ridiculous amount of advertising. I'm seeing that SW commercial for the Nissan Rouge more than anything though. Thats on at last once every half hour.

I'm stoked to see Tarkin again!

Thats why I love only being the casual collector. If I was so uptight about screen accuracy I don't think I'd be having any fun collecting. Those people sure love to try to suck the fun out of all the SW licensed collectibles communities, thats for sure.

Man you're crazy to be out on your bike, I don't even want to leave my house in this weather! Our low on Friday is -22, I can't wait, ha ha.

I'm so excited for Thursday, happy to hear that people went to the premiere said it was great. Do critic reviews come out tomorrow? I don't ever watch commercials so I still haven't seen any more than I watched in that last trailer quite a while ago.

What? I need my helmets perfect. I get out my protractor and ruler to measure all the dimensions and if it's not perfect than I send it back...and post all over the internet about how inaccurate it is. And how cool I am for knowing how inaccurate it is. Ha ha, I guess I shouldn't talk since I've freaked out about how terrible I think superhero costume designs are when they change them.

Woooooo! OMG thats going to be terrible. Our coldest day in the forecast is Sunday which is supposed to be -12. Right now its a balmy 11 degrees out.

I'm definitely going to read the critics reviews, but I never really put any stock into what they say. I usually find myself completely disagreeing with them more than half of the time.

I always know the exact number of stitches in each screen worn piece of clothing, and if they release something that is missing even one I am the first one to let the world know all about it! How dare any of these so called "fans" not know every millimeter of detail of their so called favorite characters. These are not true fans they are posers!

Yeah it's 13 here. One of my coworkers slid into a ditch with a government vehicle so we're trying to get all the paperwork together to get that taken care of.

I glanced at rotten tomatoes, it was
in the 80th percentile at the moment. Only review I read said it's for adults and not kids which sounds awesome.

I can't believe so called fans don't know the exact number of stitches, how dare them!

I'm surprised the Prime 1 Superman is wait listed already. Seems like the Hot Toys BvS Superman sold out quickly as well. I guess Superman is just more popular now. :p

Oh that sucks. I once saw a guy driving on the other side of the interstate go into a ditch at full highway speed. His truck spun around several times and almost came back out into the highway in front of a semi. Scared the **** out of me just seeing it.

That sounds awesome! This movie definitely is going to have a different tone to it, and I like the sound of that. I'm still betting everybody dies in the end.

Ha! :p. I've been in a Superman mood lately. If I was going Prime 1 I think I'd go for Supes over Batfleck. I really think the Cavill sculpt turned out really well on that thing. Have you seen the Resinworx Man of Steel? http://www.resinworx.com/store/p2/Superman_Man_of_Steel_.html I think the enraged light up head looks a little weird, but I think the normal head looks great. And I absolutely LOVE the pose on this.

Today I finally caved and ordered the Pfeiffer Catwoman PF, after many months of going back and forth on it. But in the end I decided I need her in quarter scale.

Awesome, congrats! I was wondering when you would order that piece. Can't wait to see her when you get it!

That Superman is awesome! If I'm spending $1K on a Superman statue it has to be a comic book version though.

Car accidents are freaky. I saw someone slide into the guard rail on the highway and start spinning. Have you ever been in a wreck?

Thanks man. I'll definitely be taking tons of pics.

I didn't 100% love Man of Steel, but I am really digging that statue. If it was $750 I think I could talk myself into it.

I haven't been in a wreck luckily. *knock on wood* I had a very, very minor fender bender once, and another time I slid into a curb in the rain that ended up causing a flat tire/bent wheel but other than that I've been lucky. How about you?

She looks so awesome! I'm really digging the EX. We'll see what comes out next year, if nothing more important than this then I might get her.

On the downside, realization has now set in that $500 is now the new PF standard price.

Edit: Yup, thats definitely K-2S0 there.

I like that you're on board with Superman these days. :) I'm trying to figure out which direction I go with my collection before I invest in any more display cases. Those things themselves are costly! Or I can just be like some of the guys on the blu-ray forums and just keep everything in the boxes, ha ha.

Yeah I got in a wreck a few years ago. We have a road with a bunch of roundabouts and people cannot figure out how they work even though there are two signs before each one telling you which direction you can go from each lane. So I was in the inside left left going straight and the car next to me in the outside right lane decided to take a left...and I ran into the side of her when she turned in front of me. The best part was she thought it was my fault so when the cop got there she told him everything that happened. It was hilarious when he wrote her a ticket and she freaked out.

That $500 price point is tough to swallow. You have to be happy about all the Star Wars love finally though! I'm really hoping they are prepared for Episode VIII! It would be nice if they would go back and make some of the older characters, but it's looking like that's not going to happen when there are so many troopers to make from these new movies.

Bwhaaahaaa! I'm loving that part where she freaked out when she got a ticket. I swear I've never seen so many near accidents any where else than in roundabouts. People just don't understand when they are supposed to yield, or which direction the lane they are in is supposed to go. I actually go out of my way to take a different route that doesn't have those if I can.

I just think that its about time for me to get back into Supes. He was my favorite superhero, even before Batman when I was little. I used to have one of those super cheap rubber Superman Halloween costumes when I was a kid, that came with a red mask that went around your eyes, even though Superman never wore that. But anyways, I thought I was so awesome when I had that thing on LOL.

Displays are super expensive, especially once you tack on all the doors, hinges and lights. If you want legs on them thats more too. But there is no way I could buy a super expensive statue/figure and then just leave it in the box. I guess thats why if I can't fit it in somewhere I just sell it.

I'm definitely happy they are finally cranking out SW stuff, but at $500+ a crack I'll have to be selective. I'm still not ruling out Jyn though. I love pretty much everything about this piece.

See I don't mind the roundabouts, they are quick. People just need to be less stupid, ha.

That Superman costume sounds amazing, ha. I had Superman pajamas complete with the velcro attached cape! I also had a ton of the DC Super Powers toys.

Yeah the prices are tough to take especially when you see most recent Sideshow pieces selling below retail on eBay and even their exclusives aren't selling out on their site without discounts. I think they've went over the price point people are willing to pay especially for how over produced their pieces are (not to mention all the other options out there now).

I totally had those pajamas! They were my favorites! I also had the Batman ones, and I think I had Spider-Man ones too. I also had these awesome Super Looney Tunes figures that I got from McDonalds:

kmt-supt.jpg

They were some of my favorite toys when I was a kid. But I've been looking for them for year now and I think they are gone .

Once Lou comes back in here he's going to be like "what in the hell happened to my thread?"

I'm hoping the collectible market has finally reached its bursting point. I too have seen lots of recent PFs selling for under retail on eBay.

Ha, yeah my brother had the Batman pajamas. So I know those are McDonald's toys, but that Bugs and Daffy are actually pretty cool! I totally had this as a kid:

lrg-loose-front.jpg

I had a ton of the figures and the Batmobile too!

Lou needs to stick around to babysit us apparently. :p

I don't know about you, but seeing all those statues sell below retail is frustrating as heck. I have no desire to pre-order stuff anymore because of that. I may just wait on everything now and just jump on the waitlist if an ex happens to actually sell out before it ships. Usually if you do that right away you're fine.

This thread is so derailed . We got a brand new SW movie opening in a couple days and instead we are talking about DC pajamas and toys from our childhood. I love it!

I think a lot of the Super Powers figs were just a bit before my time. I've seen them online but I don't remember having any of them. I did have a Supes figure that came with a Kryptonite ring that you could wear, and when you put the ring next to Superman's chest it would knock him over. I also had a Lex Luthor figure that was supposed to have a punching action, but he just ended up punching himself in the head lol.

Seeing the plummeting prices on eBay is scaring the **** out of me. I know I have a few statues that I will always be able to make a profit on, but others I don't even think I'd break even anymore. On the other hand if I want to buy something and I can get $100 off thats awesome. But if its only $50 I'd probably still buy from SS just in case something happened so I wouldn't have to go through an eBay seller trying to get a discount or return if something gets f'ed up. I know what you mean about the waitlist, but you can't use any RPs or coupons on a waitlist item so then you're really stuck paying full price. Thats probably the only reason I still P.O. stuff. That, and flex pay helps too.

Oh that's funny, that Superman figure/ring must have had magnets in it.

Okay back on track, I'm super excited about Rogue One! I'm going tonight in the snow storm. We already have snow packed roads and are getting another foot today/tomorrow. I'm pretty miserable right now, I hate this weather!

Yeah the prices on eBay are making me hesitant about preordering anything. I'm telling you the bubble is going to burst like what happened to sports cards. There got to be too many companies over producing everything. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's not a good sign.

Man, thats gonna suck to travel in. Its super cold here, but the storm you have is supposed to get over here tomorrow. They are saying we are getting snow all day and night tomorrow, and now its looking like they are predicting snow all day Saturday too. Having SW movies open in December is ****ing stupid! I hope they move them back to May soon.

Boba Fett is a good example of that right now. There are 4 Quarter Scale Bobas available, you've got 2 from Sideshow, Hot Toys did a quarter scale, and now XM. With all of those out there its really saturating the market and driving prices lower. I think we actually need even more companies to get these licensing rights, it would be the end of SS being able to charge whatever they want for pieces, and they'd be forced to lower them back to something reasonable.

It's awful! Especially in my front wheel drive car. I don't think Disney will stop the December movie times anytime soon. I remember driving on snowy roads to the movie last year as well. Although we had a pretty mild winter after December last year.

Ha, I don't know if SS would lower prices. They'll probably drive themselves out of business though. Why did Master Replicas go under?

I so wish Disney would swap their Marvel releases with SW so SW could go back to the summer. I mean SW had the month of May sewn up decades before Marvel was making movies. Watching a new SW movie in December just doesn't feel right to me.

Hey if they go out of business I'd probably be fine with that too lol. Another company would definitely come along then.

I'm not sure why MR went under. But I think the guys that are running EFX are the same guys from MR, and considering they are having a hard time delivering product to their customers, that may have been the same problem with MR. I'm wondering how much longer people are going to wait for their Biker Scout helmets before they try to get a class action lawsuit going. Its now been 2 and a half years since it went up for order :OMG:.
