I've only seen a few episodes of Rebels. Mostly the ones with Vader, Maul, or Ahsoka but it's enough to get the references. I'll be getting Seasons 1 and 2 on Blu, and you guys can borrow to catch up.

There's a scene in Landing on Point Rain on TCW where Anakin and Ahsoka jump off a massive high wall, and they use a Force push towards the ground just before hitting it. I totally believe Mace could survive the fall. Dude is a badass!

The episodes I've caught this season have been pretty good. Aside from Ezra.

Good! Along with Mace, I hope they bring back Ventress too. Can't believe they killed her. In a comic no less! She was deserving of a screen death IMO.

I wouldn't mind an alternative cut along with what we saw on screen.

Im really hoping for another cut of Rogue One on the Blu. It sucks he didn't shoot the original ending but I really want to see at least some of the scenes from the trailers put back in.

Thats the downside of only collecting from one line from one license. You can be stuck waiting a year or more in between pieces. I think I've gotten to a point where if I've been waiting in between pieces too long I'll just buy a new statue from any license and open and display it just for the fun, and if it doesn't fit in later I'll just sell it lol.

I'm not sure if he's all polystone, he has some heft to him so I'd guess he is? They definitely look good together, there's no reason to regret not ordering them since they're both still available.

Dang, how many people are you shopping for? I bought my nephews gifts then just got all of my brothers gift cards...call it lazy but at our age I really don't care if I get presents, I'd prefer the gift cards, ha ha.

My TV is about due to be replaced. I've been thinking about it for the last year now. Eventually I'm going to do it!

Okay so I'm not the only one who disapproves of all this recasting, good! You know it's just going to keep happening since Disney apparently isn't going to stop making movies from this one era. It's kind of like we keep getting World War II movies. When was the last time they released a WWI or Civil War movie? Or a Korean War movie? Probably never on that last one.

No kidding, it seems like you haven't gotten a new statue in a while! Someone whose seen the XM Star Wars statues was saying that the Luke likeness is spot on so I'm excited to see those! And I think the Green Goblin looks great. Lately my Sideshow statues have been pretty flawless, quite a few of my DC statues have blemishes, kind of makes them look like garbage now.

The only difference is I assume Mace was pretty stunned getting his hand chopped off followed by a blast of force lightning. But I'm sure he could have found a way to live still...if only.

Is Rebels not on Netflix?

The new Spidey PF is long sold out from everywhere. Once in hand pics came out everyone went and ordered him that was on the fence about him ordered it. If I was going to get it I'd definitely get the EX, but that one goes for over $600 on eBay already. I think Green Goblin will go up in value relatively quickly too. It has a pretty low ES for today's standards.

No one in my family ever wants gift cards except for me . I've got to shop for parents, siblings and niece and nephew, but I'm also doing Christmas shopping for my dad since he can't go out shopping since his stroke from a couple years ago.

One of my buddies is really into war movies, but he's really only interested in WWII stuff so he's probably part of the problem lol.

If your DC statues look like garbage you can send them my way and I'll gladly except them .

Oh you're right it is. I just saw it still up on Sideshow's site, I didn't realize it was waitlisted. It really is one of my favorite statues, I like that they went with an action pose for Spidey. So Carnage is $480 but Bane is $700? What a ripoff! Even if I was still collecting comic Batman stuff Bane was the second to last character in order of importance on my want list, but I can guarantee at $700 I would have definitely passed on Bane. This company is becoming a joke.

The full length Besta door is the dream. I'm already trying to figure out how to set some things up into a Besta and I can't put doors on it because I'll need to change the shelf heights too much. It sucks not having doors on everything! I wonder how much it would cost to have someone make them. I'm guessing they can't get the price as low as Ikea offers.

So I had an offer on my Daredevil comiquette that's been boxed up since I moved. The guy wanted me to take it out for more pictures and now that I have it set up again I'm not sure I want to part with it.

I know exactly what you mean about Superman's base. That thing seems unnecessarily tall. Has anyone made a custom base for him yet?

My brother is really into comics, but only the stuff from the 70's. He's still got a lot of his old ones. He's a really big Marvel fan but really doesn't care much for DC. I don't know if I could ever talk him into going to a Con though.

Thats good news. The last 2 statues I got were Cody and Savage, and while they were good, they weren't asking price good. The paint app was good, not asking price good. So, good thing they are doing good with Marvel stuff. Maybe they have a better facility for Marvel than Star Wars and DC, lol!

I don't mind recasting much since the original actor wouldn't be able to play the part. The only thing for me is the powers that be seem to be more interested in a movie they want made rather than the fans want. Still, they did give us 2 really good movies, so I'm willing to let them have theirs....I guess, lol!

Agreed about collecting from one license. I'm going through withdrawals. I've learned, however, to appreciate the pieces i do have rather than looking for the next one to add to the collection. Still, every now and then I find myself missing the thrill of getting a new package and opening it up.

And Cody and Savage were SS's old prices. I remember complaining about Cody's $380 price tag! LOL. Those same 2 PFs would cost at least $100 more today and they'd deliver the same paintjob, or worse. Ugghhh why do I keep buying these things .

When the plot of Rogue One was announced I really didn't think it would make that great of a movie, and it was a movie I really thought we didn't need, but after seeing it I did a complete 180 on that. If they can make that movie so good, I can only imagine how awesome the movies we actually want will be.

When it comes to SW I'm forced to appreciate what I have because I'm waiting a year or more in betweeen statues .But I'm a firm believer in as long as you have the statue displayed properly you'll always appreciate it. Still, I'm not quite sure it equals the thrill of unboxing a new one .

I hope they announce the next stand alone film during Celebration in April. And I hope its Obi-Wan!

I've never seen a custom base for the Superman PF. I'm waiting to see the custom heads for the Supergirl PF though. I don't mind the body/pose all that much and even the face looks decent in the new pictures...but she still should be younger and not have her hair up.

I feel like you are the Jedi Master in this thread. He can just relax and enjoy the statues he has while Josh and I are always looking at more, ha ha. You need to teach us the ways of the collecting force. Your wait will be well worth it when you get that XM Vader diorama! Are you planning on getting Grievous? I've heard that thing is too wide to even fit in the 39" PAX!

I don't mind recasting in certain instances. Like for Obi-Wan, we never saw what he looked like young so having Ewan McGregor cast to play a young Obi-Wan wasn't a big deal. But recasting an actor to play young Han Solo when Harrison Ford already was young Han Solo in the 70s just doesn't make much sense to me. They need to just leave it alone and tell his back story in novels or comics if they want it told (or I guess retold since there already were young Han Solo books before they un-canonized everything!).

That's my problem right now, I still don't have my displays set up the way I want them so I'm not enjoying my collection as much as I should. I need to hit up IKEA again and get everything situated. And I need to repaint a couple rooms in my place before I move stuff around. Ugh!

Did you see Anovos apparently has the Marvel license now? eFX may be in trouble... They need to get the DC license and make a Superman suit! Or a Hawkman helmet! Iron Studios is making some cool DC props, but not sure what the price would be on those to ship them here. I still need to order a stormtrooper helmet. Did anyone hear if the Anovos one got decent reviews?

I'm assuming her head comes off. There was a picture from above and it looked like the cape was tucked under the neck where the head attaches.

So this is the conversation I just had with my friend. I told her I liked Rogue One and K-2SO was awesome. She said the movie was just okay and K-2SO was super annoying. She then went on to tell me Rey is her favorite SW character followed by C-3PO. I'm thinking how in the hell can you call K-2SO annoying and like 3PO, he's completely annoying. I finally figured out she was talking about R2-D2 and got the names mixed up...at which point I started judging her for something completely different, ha ha.

And Cody and Savage were SS's old prices. I remember complaining about Cody's $380 price tag! LOL. Those same 2 PFs would cost at least $100 more today and they'd deliver the same paintjob, or worse. Ugghhh why do I keep buying these things .

When the plot of Rogue One was announced I really didn't think it would make that great of a movie, and it was a movie I really thought we didn't need, but after seeing it I did a complete 180 on that. If they can make that movie so good, I can only imagine how awesome the movies we actually want will be.

When it comes to SW I'm forced to appreciate what I have because I'm waiting a year or more in betweeen statues .But I'm a firm believer in as long as you have the statue displayed properly you'll always appreciate it. Still, I'm not quite sure it equals the thrill of unboxing a new one .

I hope they announce the next stand alone film during Celebration in April. And I hope its Obi-Wan!

I've never seen a custom base for the Superman PF. I'm waiting to see the custom heads for the Supergirl PF though. I don't mind the body/pose all that much and even the face looks decent in the new pictures...but she still should be younger and not have her hair up.

I've heard that thing is too wide to even fit in the 39" PAX!

I don't mind recasting in certain instances. Like for Obi-Wan, we never saw what he looked like young so having Ewan McGregor cast to play a young Obi-Wan wasn't a big deal. But recasting an actor to play young Han Solo when Harrison Ford already was young Han Solo in the 70s just doesn't make much sense to me. They need to just leave it alone and tell his back story in novels or comics if they want it told (or I guess retold since there already were young Han Solo books before they un-canonized everything!).



I still don't know if Rogue One was a movie we needed, but it was an enjoyable story.

That's my problem right now, I still don't have my displays set up the way I want them so I'm not enjoying my collection as much as I should. I need to hit up IKEA again and get everything situated. And I need to repaint a couple rooms in my place before I move stuff around. Ugh!

Did you see Anovos apparently has the Marvel license now? eFX may be in trouble... They need to get the DC license and make a Superman suit! Or a Hawkman helmet! Iron Studios is making some cool DC props, but not sure what the price would be on those to ship them here. I still need to order a stormtrooper helmet. Did anyone hear if the Anovos one got decent reviews?

Lol! Too funny. Yeah, I plan to get Vader, Maul, and Grievous from XM. The scale of the Maul and Grievous pieces will be too hard for me to pass up. And, considering how fast these are coming out, there's plenty of time to figure out a display not to mention on badass statue a year isn't bad on the wallet, lol!

Does Supergirl's head come off? Looking at the photos it kind of looks like its permanently on there.

April sounds about right. Last year they brought back the Tombo doors in other countries but not the US. Those are the second best option if you can't get a full length glass door.

If I had more control and saving power I could have probably gotten a half scale thing or some XM stuff instead of buying PFs from other licenses. But as great as XM is I'm still having trouble committing a grand or more into a quarter scale piece, when I can get a 1:3 Prime 1 piece for less.

Yeah, I'm really having a hard time accepting anyone else playing any of the Big 3 because we know how they looked when they were that young.

Its kind of like rolling the dice with Ikea if you wait until the spring to shop for more stuff. Sometimes they come out with better stuff, and other times they just discontinue stuff you'll need with nothing to replace it. And I think it was last year they changed the color shades slightly of the white and black/brown bestas so if you lined up a new one and an old one next to each other there was enough of a different that you could tell they didn't match.

If Anovos got DC I could see myself saving up to make a lifesize Keaton or Affleck Batman . I've seen some reviews of the First Order Stormtrooper helmet, it seems people are pretty happy with it, but I remember seeing one that had some kind of mark on it.

I used to have battery operated lights from them and they wouldn't even last 3 nights of being turned on for only 2 hours each night before the batteries would burn out. I ripped them out and sold them immediately. I think I'm going to be going with the 22" Striberg now unless they discontinue those too.

Great to hear you were able to sell the Gamorrean easily. I've seen him sell for a shitload in the past. The whole Mythos set is really in high demand right now. I just hope XM gets going on their SW stuff so you can replace the stuff you're selling with the new stuff soon. I really love how you've got your collection decluttered in the meantime.

It sounds like XM's Star Wars stuff will really be worth the price with how large and dynamic they will be. From the descriptions it sounds like they will be a lot more complex then their Marvel stuff.

I was hearing that she wasn't breathing for more than 10 minutes which would have put her at risk for being brain dead. Hopefully that was all rush reporting and not true. I really hope she's okay, I was looking forward to meeting her in March.

I will say the only bad thing about my Stribergs is some of them are white while a few of them are a soft daylight color so they don't match up right in the white Pax.

I think you'll get almost $800 out of Aurra, and the Boba Mythos could fetch you over a grand. You'll more than break even on the Tusken, Captain Rex, and Slave Leia too. Once you sell all of the statues you plan to you should be able to get all your XM wants and then some!

How come you're selling Jedi Luke if you're keeping Jedis? Are you still just doing local pickup or are you shipping them? I just saw a guy who was looking for a Bossk bust. If Lou doesn't sell you his I hope you can find one soon, knowing how much you like the character. Thats one that seems to keep going up and up in price every year. I really don't think I'd ever sell my Jedi Luke, unless they come out with a better one. People complain about the pose a lot but I kind of like it, although his legs seem to be longer then they should be, especially his left leg lol.
