Oh man, that was a huge mistake on Transformers 2, ha! I went to that in the theater and actually started dozing off towards the end. That movie is in my top 5 worst movies ever made. Along with Bay's Pearl Harbor and Armageddon. Okay Armageddon might not be terrible, but when we first got to Iraq it was the only movie someone in my unit had so I had to watch it repeatedly. The ridiculousness of it got super annoying after a while.

I don't think U.S. will ever get to distribute XM stuff unless Sideshow goes bankrupt...which I wouldn't shed a tear over. I saw they listed their Jane Foster Thor today, I wasn't surprised at all to see her with one leg up.

I think its in my top 5 worst too . He started it off pretty good with the first one but the second one was just so cringe worthy, and the action scenes were so long and extreme it was actually boring. I actually liked Armageddon, but I think if someone is stuck watching any movie repeatedly its going to burn them out on it. I haven't watched it in like a decade though. I still really like The Rock and the first Bad Boys. But for me he hasn't been able to do anything as good as those since.

I didn't look at her but I'm not surprised one bit lol.

There are definitely similarities between Snyder and Michael Bay. But for me I almost look at Man of Steel as a cinematic masterpiece when compared against a Transformers movie, because of its absolutely amazing supporting cast, and I still like Cavill as Supes. But action wise it pains me to say they are very similar. The complaints about Superman Returns' lack of action from some fans could have pushed WB into what they did though.

Sometimes I can't sleep but its never anything that goes on for days. Unless I drink coffee past 11pm then I'm guaranteed to not fall asleep until 4 at the earliest lol.

September? (n) I seriously hope they show all of their SW stuff this time. Its at a point where I have to say they are as bad as SS as far as teasing a license and showing products from it. When is Boba shipping?

I'm surprised you stuck with statues this long! Especially with how poor SS has gotten over the last few years. The bike is exactly what you needed! lol. I'm sure XM will deliver an awesome product to you, I just hope its soon. The year long+ wait already sucks when you are waiting for a piece you ordered, but having to wait a few years before it even goes up for order is unbearable.

I still haven't seen anyone that wants a Han movie. I'm almost hoping it bombs so Disney learns to start looking at what fans want to see.

The want for a Solo film seems to be small. On IG I've seen a few who are giddy over it, but nothing even close to the previous movies. More fans seem to want the Kenobi standalone more than anything. I'm also seeing a movement for a 501st standalone featuring Rex. Now that would be awesome!!

Having a complete collection no longer interests me. I want bold pieces of art, dynamic, and that have presence. What I've seen from XM fits, however, I do agree that it would be nice to know just what the hell is up! I haven't scoured the forums for any info, but I imagine if any news had come out regarding their SW line, I would have heard about it. I just hope this means they are hard at work.

I'm willing to accept slow releases if the product turns out great. One a year is fine with me Especially if Grievous and Maul end up being as large as rumored. I think XM'S Boba is shipping next quarter.

Lmao! I'm glad I'm a novice when it comes to Supes and Bats because I absolutely love the Snyder movies. BvS, to me, is my 2nd favorite superhero movie next to Deadpool.

I don't blame you for being more into your bike right now, we've been talking about how frustratingly slow the statue hobby has been right now. They put something up for order then you have to wait over a year for it to ship, it's stupid. I really wish XM would get going on their Star Wars license...we're 2 years into it and they've released nothing.

Glad I'm not the only one taking a stand against this Han Solo movie! Now if we could just get other Star Wars fans to follow suit. You know a bunch of them will go multiple times even if they don't like it just because it's Star Wars.

Do they normally put up movies digitally before they release them on blu-ray?

Man I don't know how you operate on 4-5 hours. I am worthless on that little of sleep (which is about what I've been getting all week). It gets so frustrating when it takes anywhere from 2-4 hours to fall asleep every night. Last Thursday I laid in bed all night and never fell asleep.

Yeah Michael Bay is complete garbage. I'm pretty sure half of my top five least favorite films involve Bay, ha ha. Although I did enjoy the first Transformers movie. I like Cavill as Superman as well, I just don't think the movies have been that good.

XM is killing me! I think I told you my contact offered me that Vader dio and the Lukes, but I'm not committing money to something I've never even seen. I don't understand how they could take preorders without showing the product to anyone outside the convention. Not to mention that Vader dio will probably cost $500 to ship.

Damn! I actually like MB movies, lol!

I've always been that way. If I get more than 6 hours it screws with my head. Although, there are occasions where I'll sleep for 14 hours straight. Once a quarter maybe. I don't know if you sleep with the TV in, and I know "they" say not to, but have you tried falling asleep to Jedi? I'm serious man. I've used that movie for years to put me to sleep when I've had a little trouble. And, FWIW, I love Jedi, and me falling asleep to it in no way reflects poorly on the movie, but if your having trouble, give it a shot
Couldn't hurt.

Yeah, the digital version usually comes out a couple weeks to a month before the Blu. IIRC, it was 2 weeks with TFA, so I assume the same with R1.

I was going to go see it, but I would rather see a Kenobi movie, and the fact that this opportunity is being passed on for a Solo film while Ewan is there eager to play Kenobi again just irks me. Who's the brain behind the Solo film? Seriously! Who pitched this?

I've built up enough of a collection to where I'm super on with slow releases. Not to mention there's so much out there now that if I did get tired of waiting, it could keep me busy for a decade. MR replicas, GG busts, Sideshow, Attakus, not to mention facade stuff. Then there's costumes, and tons of other memorabilia. Hell, have a Slave 1 couch made! Lol! The Stat Wars motorcycle helmets are frikkin $699, and so far they are making 3. Then there getting matching gear. Jackets range from $300 - 1k, pants $200 - $500, boots $250 - $600, gloves $80 - $300. I've never been one to care about outfits or style, we'll not since I was in my teens, but for the bike I want it to be right. So, yeah, if XM wants to do 1 SW piece a year, I'm ok with that! Lol!

Dude, I love Armageddon! The Rock! Bad Boys 1 and 2! At the end of Armageddon when Willis sacrifices himself has me sobbing like a *****!

Hey @STARKILLER 1138 ! Man you've done a lot to your room since I last saw it! Looks fantastic! I see your still all buffed out too! You put me to shame. :wow:

Holy S! This is weird! My kid and I were talking about you this evening, lol! How the hell ya been man? How is the new house? And the kid? Damn good to see you back!

Yeah, the room is going through some changes. Getting rid of alot of stuff to make room for some new things. Hope you are doing well.

I think Kenobi would be my top want, followed by a Maul movie. Maul would actually probably be my number one but I think I realize that there is probably no possibility of that happening so I don't want to ever get my hopes tooo high for that. A Rex movie sounds awesome though! I'd love to see Temuera Morrison come back to play either him or Boba. I just think he's a really cool actor that needs to be in more stuff. His Jango performance definitely left me wanting more.

That XM Boba sure would be dynamic, and I'm sure it will stand out, hopefully the rest of their SW pieces will stand out as much. I think us not seeing the SW stuff is because they are hard at work, on Marvel stuff . Joking aside, I'm starting to wonder if there is a holdup from Disney on this stuff.

I really like BvS too, although I don't want to say that too loudly around certain fan bases because I'll get my head ripped off lol. I do wish they had a better plan for their Universe like Marvel did from the start though. With so many different DC movies coming out with no obvious pre-conceived plan at times it seems like they are just throwing as much s*** at the wall as they can and just seeing what sticks.

I preordered the Rogue One steelbook from Best Buy. I'm not going to buy the digital though, so it looks like you'll get to see R1 at home a couple week before me.

Have you put anymore thought into that custom Maul helmet we were talking about last year or whenever? I still think that would be an awesome idea to go with your Maul themed bike.

 I'm glad you still remember me after I disappeared like I did. My apologies by the way. Here are the bullet points of what's happened since we talked last

  • House was still going downhill fast and the foundation company was making it worse.
  • We were finally getting somewhere and they were going to give us a full refund to hire someone else to fix the damage they caused. Of course they fled the state and left our house and wallet in bad shape.
  • We hired another company to fix some of the damage and stabilize the house. The fist time they head guy didn't do anything they way it was supposed to be. They sent out the head of that department and he quickly had it all corrected and stabilize the house. They even were able to fix some stuff. It still has issues but we've been slowly dealing with it.
  • I came down with pancreatitis 2 days before my bday back in March, was in the hospital for two weeks, released, I was home for a couple of hours went to sleep and woke up 5 days later in the hospital due to liver failure. They still can't explain why or how I came down with pancreatitis or liver failure. Was back a week after that just at the ER they scheduled me to see the specialist and 6 months later, ya seriously, I finally saw the specialist. He couldn't figure it out either nor did my wife or I feel that he cared to.
So that brings you up to speed. I'm still dealing with frequent pancreatic attacks, still no answers so I just stopped eating solid food. I'm on pretty much a liquid diet except some soup once in a while. The positive thing about it is the allergy attacks have calmed down a ton and I can do more things now then I used to be able to. Also seeing an acupucturist which is the first thing thats helpef in a long time. My son is 18 months old and running around like crazy and is one cool kid. My wife's been home for the last two months since her job terminated her position. The upside of that is she got a nice sevrince package, we see her everyday which is made up for time we've lost from working her typical 14-16 hour days and we are close to possibly signing a lease for a place for our own buisness. It's nerve wrecking but exciting to. :wow: What's new with you?

It's good to see you too Sithlord! It's been a while. :) @SithLord84

I'm so glad you've gotten back to the forum! I haven't seen you around for so long I was starting to think your house might have fallen on you . Good to hear the house is at least in stable shape.

Liver failure?!? That's super serious! :ohno: I've heard that acupuncture can really work wonders for some people with all kinds of ailments when traditional medicines don't seem to work. I've also heard great things about chiropractors and allergists as well. I'm sure you've tried all kinds of stuff but its good to hear you're getting some relief finally.

That really sucks to hear that your wife lost her job, but the possibility of setting up your own business sounds extremely exciting! Hope things work out for you guys.

So are you getting your kid into DC and Marvel stuff right away? I know he's really young but I know if I had a kid I'd be getting him some superhero clothing as soon as I could lol. I'm sure with having a kid and house repairs that must really been taking its toll on your bank account. But have you picked up any new collectibles since the last time we spoke?

Yeah, I'm also waiting to see what HJC does. Their Boba and Kylo helmets will be out late next month, and they also have a Luke Rebel Pilot helmet in the works. Word is they do have a Maul helmet coming and a First Order trooper themed one also.

I have no patience, lol! I wouldn't be able to wait watching it in my room and extra 2 weeks.

It does seem like they are making it up as they go along. Don't know if that is good or bad. Guess we will see. I will say that I loved MOS and BVS. Thought Suicide Squad was ok, but could have and should have been better considering getting all those great names for the movie.

So sorry things have been rough man. I hope those pieces of S get what's coming to them. And, I sincerely hope they figure out what is going on. I don't know if you know this, but my kid was diagnosed with Crohns January '16. It took almost a year for them to figure out what it was. She had went from a healthy 92lbs to 71lbs in the last 3 months before they figured it out. My point us, don't accept anything they say you're not comfortable with. Had I been a little more persistent they could have figured it out sooner, and she wouldn't have had to go through months of her body eating itself. FWIW, since this time last year, she has gained 45lbs and grown 4 inches with her treatment. Good to hear your are getting some relief with alternative treatment. I was a big fan of massage therapy when I hurt my back in '01. My doctor was so against it, but I never would have made it with out it.

What type of business you guys doing?

It's pretty much the same old same with me. I bought a bike in '15 and started vlogging. Been selling off some sideshow pieces to help fund bike parts and get some XM stuff.

Wow! 18 months! Can't believe it has been that long.

I desperately want a Kenobi film! Ewan even said he's willing to do it so it seems like it should be an automatic thing to me!

XM makes amazing stuff. I'm still excited for you to get your first one just so you can see the entire presentation of how they pack their stuff. It's high quality!

I don't know how you function off less than 6 hours of sleep. I get grumpy if I don't get at least 7! 8-9 is preferable, ha ha.

You liked BvS? How dare you. I'm going to pick you apart on these forums. :p I enjoyed it in the theater, but I haven't really had a desire to rewatch it again.

The steelbook is up for PO? I better get on that!

So I got back from Seattle yesterday. Got to meet Peter Mayhew, he didn't say much. His hands are gigantic. I'm not sure how his health is as he was riding around in an electric scooter. Also I sat in on the Timothy Zahn panel. Since the new Thrawn book isn't out yet he couldn't say much about it at all. He mostly talked about how he found out Thrawn was going to be in Rebels...which I've never seen so I didn't get much out of his panel, ha ha.

Did you guys see Logan yet?

A Rebel Pilot Luke sounds like it would be freaking awesome too! But I hope they at least make the Maul one.

You'll be able to watch R1 in just a little more than two weeks from now!

I'd love to see what Ayer's original Suicide Squad was, the studio butchered the hell out of the movie before they released it. I know Jared Leto is especially pissed as he says they cut out a whole movie's worth of Joker stuff.

I heard they announced there won't be a Star Wars Celebration in 2018. That means there won't be a convention to pump up the Han Solo movie before it comes out. I'm wondering if they are picking up the waves of disappointment on the Han Solo movie choice. A Kenobi movie would have been the more obvious choice, I still don't know what they were thinking.

Ha ha! Did you watch the BvS Ultimate Edition cut? It does make Lex's plot make more sense, but I think it kind of slows the movie down in doing so. Snyder's original BvS cut was 4 hours though. I don't know if we'll ever see it, but I would sure like to someday.

Yup, I ordered it last week. Its coming out in less than a month already! :D

I did see Logan. Even though its getting some of the best reviews out there that I've ever seen, I didn't really like it. My friends are super shocked at me, and I might even be shocked at myself, but it just didn't do it for me. Even with how big of a Fox X-Men fan I am, it still didn't. Did you see it?

Meh, Leto's Joker was pretty awful so either way it wouldn't matter. Their portrayal of his relationship with Harley was extremely inaccurate as well. I don't read Batman comics and even I know how abusive he is towards her. No chance he would have went out of his way to try to rescue her. I still haven't watched the ultimate cut of BvS...I have it so one of these days I'll watch it!

Do you know why they cancelled Star Wars Celebration? I ordered my Rogue One steelbook yesterday. :scat: That will be 3 straight steelbooks for me, I think I'm getting addicted, ha ha.

I wasn't that into Logan either. Don't get me wrong, I thought X-23 was badass and the fight scenes were awesome, but
I wasn't really a fan of Logan losing his powers or all the rest of the X-Men being gone without us knowing why. Plus the X-Men universe is so screwed up timeline wise, I honestly have no idea when this movie was supposed to take place. I've seen people trying to figure it out and it's like there's 3 separate timelines for all of the X-Men movies. I told one of my friends that I enjoy the X-Men movies for the most part, but I'm guessing they probably do a pretty terrible job being faithful to the comics. Hopefully they get a short actor to play Wolverine in the future and come up with a coherent timeline.

There definitely was a scene filmed where he slapped Harley around. Its nowhere to be seen on the theatrical or extended cut though. I just wonder what else what cut out.

I don't know if they cancelled it, or if they just decided not to have one. Usually they don't announce when the next Celebration is until the last day of the currently planned one, but they came out and said there wouldn't be one next year already. I'm definitely not collecting steelbooks, but I do pick one up every so often if a cool one comes out.

I thought X-23 was badass too. I thought the action was great, and the R rating was very welcomed. But
the wolverine clone just ruined the movie for me. I just thought it was a very lazy idea to come up with for the last Wolverine movie. It also seemed like this movie was so overly focused on action that when Xavier and Wolverine died I literally felt nothing. I had more tears in my eyes in the ending scene in DOFP when Logan finds that all the X-Men are alive, than I did when either Charles or Logan died in this movie. Hugh Jackman is still my favorite superhero actor of alltime though. So its going to be really hard for me seeing anyone else playing the character.

Oh yeah,
X-24 was lame as heck. The movie was a nice send off for Hugh Jackman, but wasn't a great comic book movie. I'll just leave it at that.

Yeah I'm not collecting steelbooks either, but the last 3 movies I've bought were Doctor Strange, Moana, and Rogue One, and I just happen to get them all in steelbooks. I've cut waaay back on my movie buying, I just purchase the Vudu codes from people off the BR forums for like $2 if I want to watch something and then I have it forever anyhow.

Here's a fun picture of a friend and I from comic con. Obviously we shouldn't be fighting each other, but it was just a goofing off picture in front of a backdrop.

I completely agree with you. But it seems that 99% of people out there are saying Logan is one of the greatest CB movies of all-time. But I'm just not feeling it that way.

How is Moana? I don't think I've seen a Disney movie (I'm not talking about a Marvel, Tron, or a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, I'm talking about a full-blown Disney musical movie) in like 2 decades or more. Back in 1994 my mom was taking me to a movie one day and she was like "Do you want to go see the Lion King or do you want to go see True Lies?" I was like "True Lies dammit!". I seriously aged out of Disney movies much younger than most people do.

Awesome pic! Are you glad you got that costume now? It seems like you are already getting your money's worth out of it.

By the way I found the full length Death of Superman Lives movie on YouTube. You've gotta watch this:

You should watch it too Lou, its quite entertaining.

That's a long video, I'll have to watch that later when I have time.

Well True Lies was awesome, but Lion King is pretty darn good, ha. I didn't see any Disney movies in the 90s after Lion King because I was a too cool high school kid. But I've now seen Tangled, Frozen, and Moana in the theaters. I actually love Disney movies, I have almost all of them. Seriously who doesn't like Disney movies?! Do you like Pixar movies?

That costume is definitely getting used a lot so I'm glad I got it. I think I may need to get new pants though. Those ones don't have pockets and it's annoying not having anywhere to carry a phone or wallet! Although I only spent $3 at the convention the day I wore that, ha. I actually didn't buy much this year, I didn't get any commissions done so that saved a lot of money. I forgot to tell you there were two high end art dealers there so I got to see a lot of Alex Ross art. If you ever invest in an art piece definitely go with canvas, the colors pop more. One of the booths had the Original Seven on canvas, I admired it for a long time. It was around $4K though, ouch.

Thailand Comic Con is April 21-23 and XM will be there. They are showing a painted version of their Optimus Prime for sure, but I doubt they'll show any Star Wars or DC stuff still.

Yup, its a full length documentary. Even one of my buddies who doesn't like Superman found it enjoyable. Definitely watch it this weekend if you can.

I did end up seeing the Lion King later that year, but I waited for the VHS. I just pulled up the Disney/Pixar list so I could look at it. The last animated Disney movie that I saw was Hercules in 1997, I think I rented it. And the last Pixar movie I saw was Toy Story 2, and I think I saw that on a premium cable channel when it was first on. I haven't seen any Disney or Pixar animated movies since. I think once I realized I could either watch a movie with singing animals, or I could watch a movie with Arnold mowing bad guys down with a machine gun while dropping f-bombs the choice was obvious and I've stuck with it since lol.

I don't think real Jedi pants have pockets lol. But it seems like it would be almost impossible to make it through a convention without being able to carry a phone or wallet. Okay, you've definitely got me wanting a canvas now. So they had the Original Seven there? That's so awesome! It must have been so magnificent to see. I wish I had the kind of disposable income where I could just drop $4K at a convention, because I totally would have gotten that piece.

I didn't know XM had the Transformers license. These companies need to stop acquiring licenses and start making stuff for the licenses they already have.

Wait, so you're telling me you've never seen The Incredibles??? At least watch that one! That's actually one of my favorite superhero movies. I love Pixar, everything they do is great (except the Cars movies, those are awful and they only keep making them to sell toys). You need to get in touch with your inner child again, ha.

Yes they had the Original Seven. It was glorious. I was reading some guy's negative comment on the comic con's facebook page and he was ranting about how he normally spends $10K at a convention, but they lost his business for some petty reason. I can't believe someone has that kind of disposable income to spend $10K at a convention! If I had $10K to blow last weekend, I would have 5 or 6 Alex Ross canvas prints at the moment, ha ha. I have seen people get every celebrity's autograph at a convention, that has to cost over $1K.

No I'm assuming Jedi pants don't have pockets, but it sucked having to carry my phone around in my hand because I was waiting for calls to meet up with people. Once we all got together I handed my phone to my brother and let him carry it. Then I almost got separated from everyone and realized I should stick with at least one person with a phone, ha. Although we would have met at the hotel again later.

I've never seen The Incredibles. I've also never seen Cars or Frozen or any of the other super popular computer animated films. I did see the live action Alice in Wonderland as I got the 3D version free with a player or tv I bought, I can't remember. I didn't even see Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas until finally last year when I got it for free from Disney Movie Rewards, which all my points came from Marvel movies not actual Disney ones lol.

$10K at a convention? Holy God, that guy needs a girlfriend LOL. If I ever get to one of these things I'll try to have at least $1K socked away for it, so I could get some really cool stuff. I'd love to get some autographs and artprints.

With all this talk of Alex Ross I just ordered this brand new Justice League shirt from Superherostuff: https://www.superherostuff.com/just...-call-mens-t-shirt.html?itemcd=tsjlaalxrsscll. I aslo saw this shirt and thought of you immediately LOL: https://www.superherostuff.com/boos...etle-bffs-mens-t-shirt.html?itemcd=tsbgbbbffs.

Ha! That's a place you definitely don't want to be stuck in without a phone.

I have still never seen Nightmare Before Christmas. I have it, but I've never watched it. Maybe that's what I should do tonight. You should watch The Incredibles, it's awesome.

Yeah I usually bring about $500 with me. If you want to get a sketch from any of the artists it's pretty expensive, around $200 (depending on the artist, Neal Adams is a lot more). When is the comic con in Wisconsin? I'm debating on driving down to Cheyenne for theirs in May and just going for one day so I can meet Billy Dee Williams and the actor who plays Biggs.

Nice purchase! I actually saw that Booster Gold shirt on Wednesday and immediately ordered it. I also got me an Iron Fist shirt. Now I want a Nova shirt, I wonder if they have any of those. I finished the first column in that cosmic Marvel reading list. Still a loooong ways to go. I'm loving it so far, I really like sci-fi in comic books.

I pre-ordered the XM Kingpin and the SS Jyn Erso PF this week. I guess since I didn't spend much money at comic con I had money burning a hole in my pocket, ha.

When I was a kid I always wanted to see Nightmare Before Christmas but I just never got to it. I even bought all of the Burger King watches that came out that year. I will put the Incredibles on my to-watch list. :)

I never even pay attention to when the cons are around here because all my comic buddies have moved away and its hard to get everyone together at the same time. And I'm not sure if they'd be willing to come back just for a Con. Maybe if was a really big Con. It would probably be easier to talk people into going to a Chicago one.

That's so many comics on that Marvel list! Have you bought them all and are they easy to find?

I'm so glad you got that Booster Gold shirt!

When I have money burning a whole in my pocket is when I buy something stupid. I'll either buy whatever I can find that's in stock for immediate gratification, or I'll preorder something thats like a year out, and then within a couple months or less I regret ordering and then cancel and lose my NRD. I'm really trying not to preorder stuff unless its right around the corner now. SS's stuff never sells out anymore anyways.

You collected all the watches even though you never saw the movie? Ha, that's how you know collecting is in your blood. :p Is the movie any good? Are you a Tim Burton fan? Other than the first two Batmans and Beetle Juice, I'm not really a fan of anything else he's done.

The Chicago con is a big one, that would be fun. You should at least go to one in your lifetime.

I actually paid $70 for the full year Marvel subscription so I've just been reading them online. Seemed a lot cheaper than buying 30 trades. I was disappointed that the only Darkhawk comics they have online are the ones in that collected edition I sent you. I was hoping they had the rest of the series. It's pretty nice though, I've been reading some 90s Spider-Man when Venom was introduced as well. I may be finally converting to this whole online fad, ha ha.

Well I've been trying to plan out what's going on each shelf and the XM Kingpin has had a spot so I've been planning on ordering that for a while. I just PO'ed Jyn because I think the EX is a must and wanted to put it on a payment plan. Rey I will wait on to see how she turns out, the EX on her isn't that important. I figured the hat on the Jyn EX sculpt will cover up if it doesn't turn out as good as the prototype. Although I think they switched to translucent resin or whatever with the new Green Lantern PF so maybe it will turn out great.

That Booster Gold shirt is hilarious. I'm going to wear it proudly.
