You collected all the watches even though you never saw the movie? Ha, that's how you know collecting is in your blood. Is the movie any good? Are you a Tim Burton fan? Other than the first two Batmans and Beetle Juice, I'm not really a fan of anything else he's done.

The Chicago con is a big one, that would be fun. You should at least go to one in your lifetime.

I actually paid $70 for the full year Marvel subscription so I've just been reading them online. Seemed a lot cheaper than buying 30 trades. I was disappointed that the only Darkhawk comics they have online are the ones in that collected edition I sent you. I was hoping they had the rest of the series. It's pretty nice though, I've been reading some 90s Spider-Man when Venom was introduced as well. I may be finally converting to this whole online fad, ha ha.

Well I've been trying to plan out what's going on each shelf and the XM Kingpin has had a spot so I've been planning on ordering that for a while. I just PO'ed Jyn because I think the EX is a must and wanted to put it on a payment plan. Rey I will wait on to see how she turns out, the EX on her isn't that important. I figured the hat on the Jyn EX sculpt will cover up if it doesn't turn out as good as the prototype. Although I think they switched to translucent resin or whatever with the new Green Lantern PF so maybe it will turn out great.

That Booster Gold shirt is hilarious. I'm going to wear it proudly.

I'm definitely a huge Tim Burton fan. Its pretty fun, although once I see movies with singing I just revert to my natural reaction to it which is cringing hard lol. But the movie is pretty cool. I would have loved it even more if I was younger I'm sure, but I do enjoy it.

Do you think they'll bring Darkhawk into the movies? I see that he's been a part of some semi-recent stuff and I've seen quite a lot of people online posting that they want to see him in a movie. I have a short Spider-Man/Venom/Carnage TPB from the 90's but I don't remember what it was taken from.

So are you getting a Tablet to read all of these on. I just realized I said my trigger word Tablet, I better go on a tirade and smash something LOL.

That's hilarious because its so true! I saw they added the translucent resin to the Julie Newmar Catwoman PF too and it turned out really good. I think that Prime 1 forced them to step up their game because that's what they use and that's why their stuff looks so good. Although I saw Alex say they will only use it for certain pieces, so maybe all of their factories aren't setup to use it. I still think the Jyn PF looks more awesome than the Rey PF.

That's cool. Now I'm going to try to not go off into another triggered tangent, but I'm one of those old farts that keeps buying the physical copies of books, music and movies. I just feel that when I buy something digitally I don't really have it unless I can hold it in my hands. I'm not nearly as bad with this as tablets though, I have bought some stuff digitally. There is also this fear in the back of my mind when I want to watch something I bought digitally my internet will go out right when I want to watch it. Most would say that's an extremely tiny possibility but my internet actually goes out a lot. I really should look at getting a new ISP.

I never really paid much attention to the hair on SS's stuff. At least its not as bad as some of HT's Barbie looking rooted hair . I think the hair looks pretty good on the Jyn PF, but her hat look is way cooler. That piece is totally EX of Fail.

Superman's last flex is May 5th. I have a feeling this will get another slight delay, it actually just got delayed from February to May last month. My last Batman flex is May 20th. They are already getting their second batch of those, so I shouldn't have any delay on that one. I actually had a bunch of stuff pile up this month. The 1:1 BvS Batarang I had on order just shipped out to me last Tuesday and should be here on Monday (It takes almost a full week to get stuff here from California). My last Pfeiffer Catwoman flex was supposed to be this month, but I pushed it to next month because I had too much piling up this month, but then less than a couple of hours after I pushed it I got an email that my last flex on Kylo was delayed until next month too . If I would have known they were going to do that I wouldn't have pushed my Catwoman to next month.

If I continue collecting after this I'm going to completely rethink how I order stuff. The Kylo PF is already really pissing me off. Its nice to have a flex system that breaks the high price up into more digestible payments, but after all of this time waiting and all of the delays (its getting delayed every single month now) my funds I've had going into that thing are all tied up and I have nothing to show for it. I really think I'm going to quit p.o.ing stuff and just wait until it starts shiping and then decide then if I want it. I was thinking about p.o.ing the Prime 1 Venom, but then I thought that's like $1K and I don't want to wait for at least a year with that much tied up, probably longer, and by then I probably won't even want it anymore. And I'm definitely not going to eat a $90 NRD cancelling it either.

I guess I'm getting more into the digital thing because a lot of movies and books I've bought I'll never watch more than once (or ever for that matter, ha). Seems smarter to get them cheap digitally if I only ever plan on watching them once. Plus my brothers are on my vudu account so $2-4 for a movie we can all watch seems like the way to go. Although I do have connection issues sometimes which sucks. That's why I'll still buy movies I'll watch a lot. Do I need to get a dual band router? I'm clueless on that sort of stuff.

Didn't they do rooted hair on the Elektra premium format back in the day? I'm definitely glad they didn't continue that! I don't get how Hot Toys chooses which figures get rooted hair and which don't.

I was actually planning to do some drive-by bataranging lol. The extra account sounds like a really smart idea. That way you aren't locked into anything and if you want to impulse by something that's in stock you'll have a nice bit of savings towards it all set. I think the tendrils are detachable, there is a pic of the Prime 1 guy holding the body if it without any of them attached. I doubt I'll get him anyways, $1K is a lot for me for a character that I won't have anything to go with it. Plus I'm sure there will be another new Batman piece I will want more by the time that comes out .

Now I remember talking about digital being a good idea if you only read them once. That really does make a lot of sense. I am clueless when it comes to routers. I think that dual band stuff is all a bunch of crap and they all work the same lol. My problem here is the internet just goes out for no reason. A lot of times when I see its gone out I'll walk over to the modem and I see all of the lights are out on it. then I have to restart the whole thing.

I remember seeing that Elektra now that you mention it. That definitely had the Barbie hair. The face on that thing wasn't that good either lol. I wish HT would just go with sculpted hair on all of their stuff. I really wanted to get the Anne Hathaway Catwoman but everytime I look at it I just can't get myself to pull the trigger because of the hair. I would just feel emasculated with that thing on my shelf lol.

I desperately want a Kenobi film! Ewan even said he's willing to do it so it seems like it should be an automatic thing to me!

XM makes amazing stuff. I'm still excited for you to get your first one just so you can see the entire presentation of how they pack their stuff. It's high quality!

I don't know how you function off less than 6 hours of sleep. I get grumpy if I don't get at least 7! 8-9 is preferable, ha ha.



You liked BvS? How dare you. I'm going to pick you apart on these forums. I enjoyed it in the theater, but I haven't really had a desire to rewatch it again.

The steelbook is up for PO? I better get on that!

So I got back from Seattle yesterday. Got to meet Peter Mayhew, he didn't say much. His hands are gigantic. I'm not sure how his health is as he was riding around in an electric scooter. Also I sat in on the Timothy Zahn panel. Since the new Thrawn book isn't out yet he couldn't say much about it at all. He mostly talked about how he found out Thrawn was going to be in Rebels...which I've never seen so I didn't get much out of his panel, ha ha.

Did you guys see Logan yet?

I want to see Logan but will wait for Blu. I haven't seen any of the Wolverine movies in the theater, lol! I keep hearing how good it is.

I'd love to see what Ayer's original Suicide Squad was, the studio butchered the hell out of the movie before they released it. I know Jared Leto is especially pissed as he says they cut out a whole movie's worth of Joker stuff.



I heard they announced there won't be a Star Wars Celebration in 2018. That means there won't be a convention to pump up the Han Solo movie before it comes out. I'm wondering if they are picking up the waves of disappointment on the Han Solo movie choice. A Kenobi movie would have been the more obvious choice, I still don't know what they were thinking.

Ha ha! Did you watch the BvS Ultimate Edition cut? It does make Lex's plot make more sense, but I think it kind of slows the movie down in doing so. Snyder's original BvS cut was 4 hours though. I don't know if we'll ever see it, but I would sure like to someday.

I did see Logan. Even though its getting some of the best reviews out there that I've ever seen, I didn't really like it. My friends are super shocked at me, and I might even be shocked at myself, but it just didn't do it for me. Even with how big of a Fox X-Men fan I am, it still didn't. Did you see it?

I've like the Wolverine movies, but they've never been spectacular to me. Still entertaining though.

LMAO! They know they are going to get a ton of heat for the Solo movie so they aren't having a Celebration next year, ! They need to cancel it and start making that Kenobi movie. Maybe the Solo film will be straight to video.

I liked SS, but feel like it could have been more. Honestly, they probably could have made a trilogy out of it. I loved Leto's Joker, and definitely want to see more.

X-24 was lame as heck. The movie was a nice send off for Hugh Jackman, but wasn't a great comic book movie. I'll just leave it at that.

Yeah I'm not collecting steelbooks either, but the last 3 movies I've bought were Doctor Strange, Moana, and Rogue One, and I just happen to get them all in steelbooks. I've cut waaay back on my movie buying, I just purchase the Vudu codes from people off the BR forums for like $2 if I want to watch something and then I have it forever anyhow.

I completely agree with you. But it seems that 99% of people out there are saying Logan is one of the greatest CB movies of all-time. But I'm just not feeling it that way.

How is Moana? I don't think I've seen a Disney movie (I'm not talking about a Marvel, Tron, or a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, I'm talking about a full-blown Disney musical movie) in like 2 decades or more. Back in 1994 my mom was taking me to a movie one day and she was like "Do you want to go see the Lion King or do you want to go see True Lies?" I was like "True Lies dammit!" . I seriously aged out of Disney movies much younger than most people do.

Well True Lies was awesome, but Lion King is pretty darn good, ha. I didn't see any Disney movies in the 90s after Lion King because I was a too cool high school kid. But I've now seen Tangled, Frozen, and Moana in the theaters. I actually love Disney movies, I have almost all of them. Seriously who doesn't like Disney movies?! Do you like Pixar movies?

That costume is definitely getting used a lot so I'm glad I got it. I think I may need to get new pants though. Those ones don't have pockets and it's annoying not having anywhere to carry a phone or wallet! Although I only spent $3 at the convention the day I wore that, ha. I actually didn't buy much this year, I didn't get any commissions done so that saved a lot of money. I forgot to tell you there were two high end art dealers there so I got to see a lot of Alex Ross art. If you ever invest in an art piece definitely go with canvas, the colors pop more. One of the booths had the Original Seven on canvas, I admired it for a long time. It was around $4K though, ouch.

Thailand Comic Con is April 21-23 and XM will be there. They are showing a painted version of their Optimus Prime for sure, but I doubt they'll show any Star Wars or DC stuff still.

Man I hope we see something. There's still STGCC in Sept.

I've never seen The Incredibles. I've also never seen Cars or Frozen or any of the other super popular computer animated films. I did see the live action Alice in Wonderland as I got the 3D version free with a player or tv I bought, I can't remember. I didn't even see Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas until finally last year when I got it for free from Disney Movie Rewards, which all my points came from Marvel movies not actual Disney ones lol.

$10K at a convention? Holy God, that guy needs a girlfriend LOL. If I ever get to one of these things I'll try to have at least $1K socked away for it, so I could get some really cool stuff. I'd love to get some autographs and artprints.

Logan is PACKED with action. I may have some complaints about part of the movie, but it definitely delivers if you want action.

Yeah they definitely like to kill off parents in the Disney movies, what is up with that? You can watch Tangled, there are no parent deaths that I can recall...but there is singing, ha ha. Actually a few of the Pixar movies have done the same thing with killing of parents/spouses. Wall-E doesn't have that problem as he's a robot.

We probably get between 6 and 12 tornado watches per year, and at least 2 tornado warnings. The closest I've ever been to one was when I was really little and my parents took me to Holy Hill which is a really old church that is kind of a tourist attraction:

But anyways we were climbing up one of the towers and then all of a sudden they announced a tornado had touched down really close that came out of nowhere. So everybody is freaking out and running down the stairs of this thing for their lives.

I opened it yesterday and its got some really good weight to it. Its not sharp to the touch, but if you threw it at someone's head I'm 95% sure they'd die . This version of Batman doesn't f*** around! . For now I just have it in my Besta, I will probably get a floating shelf for it eventually though and it will go next to my BvS Mondo poster once I get that thing framed.

It looks like you could get a lot for Lobo, do you have the EX? If so you could probably get an XM piece out of him.

Yeah dude, I done mess with the passes for traveling much. Used to when I went snowboarding, but that was a couple years ago. Passes in the summer are fantastic. Steven's is a nice ride on the bike.

The bad thing about driving to Seattle from here is there are THREE passes I had to go over. Both Snoqualmie and Lookout passes were terrible. Couldn't go faster than 35 and they were snow covered. It was NOT enjoyable to say the least.

I want to see Wonder Woman, GotG 2, Thor, Spider-Man, War for the Planet of the Apes, Kingsman 2, Justice League, and Ep VIII in theaters, not sure I will go to all of them. Plus I'll probably go to some kids movies with my nephews like Despicable Me 3. I'll probably end up at Pitch Perfect 3 as well, ha ha. I saw Kong this last weekend, it was pretty entertaining.

How are they rebooting the Matrix? Like are they going to make prequels or sequels or just reshoot the whole thing with new actors? I'll be honest, I loved the first one but the second was one of the most disappointing movies I've seen. Never bothered with the third.

I'd like to say I can stick to only characters I like, but I'm sure I'll end up buying one I wish I wouldn't have. Of course at the price those are and if they are cranking them out fast, I'll probably have to be choosy. Heck, I still need to invest money into doors for my cabinets. Come on lottery!
