I want to see Wonder Woman, GotG 2, Thor, Spider-Man, War for the Planet of the Apes, Kingsman 2, Justice League, and Ep VIII in theaters, not sure I will go to all of them. Plus I'll probably go to some kids movies with my nephews like Despicable Me 3. I'll probably end up at Pitch Perfect 3 as well, ha ha. I saw Kong this last weekend, it was pretty entertaining.

How are they rebooting the Matrix? Like are they going to make prequels or sequels or just reshoot the whole thing with new actors? I'll be honest, I loved the first one but the second was one of the most disappointing movies I've seen. Never bothered with the third.

I'd like to say I can stick to only characters I like, but I'm sure I'll end up buying one I wish I wouldn't have. Of course at the price those are and if they are cranking them out fast, I'll probably have to be choosy. Heck, I still need to invest money into doors for my cabinets. Come on lottery!

So is your winter storm gone yet? It might hit 70 here this afternoon. :p

At least tell me a woman is dragging you to Pitch Perfect 3. No man should ever willingly go to a movie like that lol.

I just read a little more about the Matrix reboot, and it seems more like it will be a Matrix spinoff featuring all new characters. It will still take place in the exact same universe as the original movies. I think this would have done much better 10 years ago, but I'm not sure how much people will get excited about this now.

I so hate you right now! :p I just got slammed with another foot of snow yesterday! I think I got more snow in the last 2 days than I have all winter FFS! Winter is definitely not over with here. Its 28 degrees outside, and it looks like we will be stuck in the 40's at best for weeks.

My sis-in-law will get me to go, but it won't exactly be against my will, ha. I really enjoyed the first Pitch Perfect movie. Feel free to judge. Did I tell you when I was leaving Kong that my coworker was there by himself watching 50 Shades. That is 100x worse!

Yeah I don't think I'm interested in anymore Matrix stuff. I don't know if my tastes have changed or what, but I saw the first one on TV recently and I didn't think it held up well. Or I just didn't like it as much as I used to, I think the second one really turned me off to the franchise.

Your weather sounds awful, it is so nice here! Of course even our nice weather comes with a catch as it's pretty windy outside. Still better than the snow and cold.

Are you going to watch Iron Fist on Friday? I read Brubaker's Immortal Iron Fist run which was quite enjoyable, but it sounds like they aren't even going to go into much of the mystical stuff so I'm not even sure how it's going to work. I still have never watched Luke Cage other than the first episode.

Oh man! What was that guy doing by himself in there! I mean couldn't he have just stayed home and watched porn instead of having to go into a theater and watch 50 shades to do whatever it was he had to do LOL!

I guess I'll have to wait to see a trailer to see how I feel about a new Matrix movie. Right now its not something I'd be too excited about, but maybe once I see some footage that might change my mind.

This weather is so terrible. I knew when it was milder last month and earlier this month that I could get pounded towards the end of winter, and that's exactly what happened.

I don't have Netflix anymore. I got rid of it once I realized how little I was using it, plus I have too many internet problems for it to be dependable. I guess I still prefer buying stuff on disc and watching it that way verses streaming anyways.

Whats going on? I literally have no clue lol. I haven't watched the show since the Vader and Ahsoka fight. If its something terrible I believe this will fall into the category where I pick my own canon LMAO. In my SW canon The Force Unleashed still happened, I don't care what The Mouse says :D!

You'll have to watch it. You must watch it. I won't ruin it for although you may feel Disney has already ruined things by what they did.

I feel I have calmed enough where I can accept it. It's still BS, but what can I do. "Everything that has a beginning has an end." Now that I've used a Matrix quote...

It's funny, for St Patrick's Day I put up a pic of MAUL with a Matrix background on IG. Next thing I know, I'm getting all these DM'S about a reboot, and they are looking at Michael B. Jordan as the lead (Morpheus). I did finally read that it isn't a reboot, and that the writer of what ever Matrix movie they are working on said that if he were going to recast Keanu, he'd do it with Keanu, lol! They are working on something though, but I imagine it will be a prequel. Possibly the beginning of the war or possibly the first "The One" or maybe when Morpheus was first brought out of the Matrix. I'm all for it. I'm one who enjoyed the first tremendously! It changed the way I view the world. The 2nd and 3rd movies hit me on a deeper level though. These new movies won't have the Wachowskis involved, so I'm bummed about that.

Well I read about Maul getting killed last night. I didn't read the details though, I was too upset lol. I'm not really too surprised they decided to do that, but I am really bummed they decided to do this in a TV show and not in an actual movie. I feel with them deciding to keep Maul only in the TV shows they never really got fully behind bringing the character back anyways. I know the shows are canon, but a lot of them just don't feel quite canon to me, kind of like canon-adjacent. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch it now or if I'll just wait until they release the entire Rebels series on Blu. Then again if they don't kill Ezra off eventually I just might not ever able to come back to the show lol.

Yeah, I heard it seems they are talking about a Morpheus prequel. I guess it could be pretty cool. I'm not into the Matrix as much as when it first came out, but maybe once I see a trailer for this it will reinvigorate my interest in the franchise. I did really love the first one, although I haven't seen it in a really long time, but the other 2 just didn't do it for me as much as the first one.

I saw it on Facebook because the official Star Wars page posted a video (apparently before it even aired on the west coast and people were pissed). It was a super lame way to finish him off, although to be honest I always thought it was kind of silly they brought him back after he got chopped in half. I think they had to end him on the cartoon because I'm sure the majority of the Star Wars audience wouldn't understand why he's alive again. Pretty sure only the hardcore people watch the cartoons.

Did you see the new Thanos statue Sideshow is making? I'm interested in seeing the full reveal this week. Looks like he has the size that Darkseid should have. I've been reading nothing but Marvel lately, my interest in DC is waning after New 52 and Rebirth. Of course I've heard newer Marvel comics aren't that great either, but I've been reading older stuff.

I'm so mixed on how I felt about Maul coming back altogether. To me the shows never recaptured the mysterious Sith assassin that he was portrayed as in TPM and the old SW books I read. They did give more to the character I think, but the thing I always liked about Maul was the mystery of the character. But then again they did make some really cool eps with him like The Lawless. There were rumors of them bringing Maul back all the way back before Ep. II came out, I remember one where he was going to basically be floating above a cloud of smoke where his legs used to be. So they've known there was definitely a lot of interest in the character still. But since George didn't bring him back maybe they should have just left him alone anyways. I don't know. I guess I'll watch this episode someday, I haven't kept up with Rebels at all.

Thanos does look really cool and the chair looks extremely detailed! I'm not a Thanos fan though, so I'm not going to get it regardless. There is nothing wrong with reading the old stuff. Whenever I go to the comment sections on comic news articles the people are always complaining that the new stuff just isn't as good as the old stuff anyways.

I don't know if you heard but Sideshow is apparently unveiling a brand new Boba Fett PF on their Facebook Live show this Wednesday. I find this hard to believe since they literally just made one, but according to their FB page there is a new Boba PF coming. If this is true I'm thinking it will just be a ROTJ variant of their last one.

Edit: I just read over on the Freaks board that someone somehow saw it and they are saying it is indeed a brand new Boba PF and it will be in a museum style pose.

Wow, absolutely no reason for yet another 1/4 scale Fett. I'm already seeing people trying to sell the XM one for cheap. So I guess we can expect SS to make another Vader soon too, I mean why bother making the characters that haven't been touched in 1/4 scale?

Yeah the new comics are just blah. Infinite reboots, ruining established characters, or replacing everyone with minorities because they're too lazy to create new, interesting characters. Plus the art is often lazy too, I don't like the new style.

This Boba thing is ridiculous! I guess I'm now expecting a 3rd Vader PF followed promptly by a 4th Maul PF. It seems they love cranking out these characters over and over again while continuing to shaft other characters they haven't even made 1 PF of yet. This is making my leap to Prime 1 so much easier .

I don't get why they can't just create brand new awesome characters instead of just race swapping everyone for the sake of being PC. I seriously think both comics and the majority of Hollywood have completely run out of ideas. At least Star Wars is creating some new awesome minority characters in the movies and comics. I still haven't read any of my DC Rebirth comics yet LOL. And just reading all the crap online that's going on with Marvel comics, there is no way I'm going to pick one of those things up any year soon.

I don't know how many of the MAUL episodes you saw in TCW, but his revival is epic AF! The whole build up to it with Savage and Ventress is some of the best story telling in Star Wars. Had TCW not been canceled, everything we got in The Son of Dathomir comic would have been shown. Possibly more than that too. There was a definitely commitment to the character for that show. Rebels however, I feel they brought him back simply to bring in more fans to that show. MAUL tempting Ezra to the dark side seemed like it was going to be a big thing. This could have been huge! Filoni said it made sense to kill off MAUL since he wasn't in the OT obviously, amd a major player like Maul wouldnt be in hiding. Cop out IMO. I'm still fuming over it. I absolutely hate the show.

Yeah the PC movement is really out of control and people wonder how Trump got elected...okay we probably shouldn't talk about politics, ha.

Seriously the big 3 from the original trilogy all need new statues and we need Lando still! Plus there's a bunch of characters from the PTs that still haven't been made. Sideshow really grinds my gears!

You should just do what Josh and I are doing and pretend none of the Disney expanded universe is canon, ha.

The Maul that showed up in the beginning of his arc in TCW is actually the one I didn't care that much for. If I hadn't read other Maul books and comics years beforehand I may have felt differently about that version but he was much too eccentric in comparison to his usual silent deadly assasin type that I always loved. He did get much closer to that as the show went on, but the early stage of the reintroduction of the character just wasn't my favorite.

I'm watching Sideshow Live right now, the new Fett is pretty cool. Kylo looks good with or without the blade. Thanos is huge and epic!

Ha, I agree its probably not a good idea to get into politics in today's political climate lol. :p

I was trying to watch the FB live thing on both my desktop and phone and couldn't get the video to work for s***. I did see pics of Boba online though. He does look pretty cool but I'm still sticking with my original Boba. It doesn't help that I probably couldn't even get $200 out of my old one as well. The 1/4 Boba market is so overly saturated and they keep making more! Ughhh!

Seriously, the Mouse has delivered a bunch of crap so far as the current EU goes. I think I'm going to pretend Rebels doesnt exist .

The more I look at this new Boba the more I appreciate the XM one that I wasn't that fond of. Its not that I don't think this one doesn't look good, but its too similar to the first one. If a company is going to do 3 versions of the same character they really should try to do something they really haven't done before. Although I think the XM piece is a bit busy, they sure delivered something I haven't seen anywhere else.

Yeah definitely wouldn't be worth selling your old one as I'm sure this one will be $500+

Did you see Thanos?! The girl doing the video was able to hide behind it when they first showed it. I'm guessing at least $1K.

Yeah it's nice, but unnecessary especially since it's so close to the first one. So we now have FIVE 1/4 scale Bobas and 0 Lando. And only 1 Han that needs an upgrade.

That's freaking HUGE! He looks so freaking awesome too! I gotta say this is one of the best looking SS pieces I've ever seen, and I have no connection to the character. I'm sure it will be at least $1K, but its easily as great as an XM piece. As much as I complain about SS, they knocked it out of the park this time. I just hope the production version comes out the same.

I thought SS was only going to make super huge bases from this point forward, but this Boba has a very manageable base. It does look really good and would be great for those that don't have a Boba, but after all of these 1/4 releases how many people out there are in the market for a 1/4 Boba still? I think I'm coming to the realization they just won't be making many of the characters that people are looking for. Apparently remaking Vader, Maul and Boba over and over again is more profitable.
