So I've been reading the Marvel comic series of The Stand aka Captain Trips. Got six issues left in the entire run, and my favorite character from the book has just died. Was just as sad as when the character died in the TV miniseries.
Just started re-watching the Mini series on Netflix and am at the part where Stu Redman (Gary Sinise) has been introduced to Geraldo the Rat at the CDC and Nick Andros (Rob Lowe) just explained to the sheriff that his brother in law is the one who beat the **** out of him.
After the comics and movie, I'm going to go and read the book. I don't think I ever actually finished the book.
Anyone else a fan of the story?
