Very cool that they're the first with a 4K premium release. Buy i'm WAY more excited about one of the answers Manta gave to someone in the reactions!

A bit of a bold move since 4K is still a relatively new format and not everyone has this at the moment, so I don't think it'll sell as good as their previous releases. People would want 3D at this point, and not pay extra for a 4K disc not having the means to play it.(that's if they intend on opening it of course). But each to their own.

I think it's a good move on ML's part. But if it's more expensive than a 3D+BD release then i'm gonna be skipping this.
Plus their choice of art is a big deciding factor...

I Personally would chose 3D over 4K any day ! I just think the 4K movement is overkill, I mean watching a movie on regular Blu-ray can be simply breathtaking. I read someone also explaining that if you are not at the proper distance for each viewing format, you will not get the real benefit of the increase definition. I'll only switch when I will be forced to do so. Until then bring on the 3D
