Umbrella are fantastic at being first with great packaging.

Maybe a victim of their ability to be first here though. Second Sight always come with the extras on disc and often the 120p books.
In this case, it looks like 3 new interviews and a featurette. Umbrella are fully capable of having good disc extras when the movie is old enough. There was 48p book with theirs too tbf.

I'm so happy both companies exist. Both have their perks. Love buying from both companies. Probably my current top 2 boutique favourites, along with the VSU's from Vinegar Syndrome.

Umbrella has better packaging this time, but SS has better content on discs, so I'll just get their basic amaray version later for cheap, and add the disc to Umbrella.

Yeah, I wasn’t blown away by this film like some others. So many more better options from A24’s catalogue that I hope they get to.

I have a question for those who have ordered thick full slips like this “Talk To Me” Release from Amazon UK.

Do they ship it in “Cardboard envelope or bubble wrap” or do they ship them properly in a “Box” so the Full Slip doesn’t get squished in the mail ?

Is it better to order from Amazon UK or Zavvi for proper shipping packing ?

If you're even the slightest bit concerned about Amazon, listen to yourself. Avoid them at all costs.
Go with Zavvi over Amazon every time.
Neither ship in boxes as far as I've found.
Zavvi maybe 2 times out of 10 you might get a box but for the most part it's a cardboard envelope. Very rare I've received a squashed slipcase.
Bent or dented steelbook occasionally? Yes. Squashed slips? Not so much, if ever.

Both cannot be trusted. I canceled all my amazon.uk and us orders as they always arrive damaged these days and refunding only costs too much, plus customs fees are lost too when hit

Why not order direct
Second Sight use similar strong cardboard mailer that HMV use and some releases are shipped in a box depending on the slipbox size involved.

Second Sight ship to most countries.

On average it definitely has a better chance of arriving in good condition from SS over Zavvi. Plus if there's any issues SS customer service are much easier to navigate than Zavvi in my experience.
