Does anyone else have a faint line running right down the centre of the rear? Not like a black line or anything, more like a line in the finish. Almost as if the gloss was missed out there.

I've posted some pictures in the Steelbook Collection thread. Take a look. I can't remember seeing that. I'm out now.
Here's the pic I took of the reverse. Zoom in. Is it in the middle?

Question to crazy peeps: do we call this 'streaky gloss'? No?
Textured

Here's a macro shot. It's the depth of print resolution. You can see it's not too high. The DPI is mediocre and then a thin layer of gloss. You to take into account the reflection on my original shot.
It looks perfectly fine in hand.

Another macro of the same section. The further you get I, the worse it looks, but there is nothing at all wrong. Most steel art would have the same lack of resolution.

Edit - that's a bit of fluff in the middle. :D

Yeah, I'm sure it does, that's why I joked about 'crazy' - if you look close enough, you'll see molecules, some of which might be ugly, and not 'match up' to someone's OCD requirements... :D
Still, they're only bits of metal. It's mad. Collecting becomes silly when you view it from the outside.
Just bits of thin metal in the end. :hilarious:

Seeing as I got the steel out again.
I missed this in the images posted yesterday on the Steelbook Collection thread.

The J Card.
If anyone's interested.

Right, silly when too close, silly from afar, that's why we're the masters, being at just right a distance. :D

I don't actually fold them like most people do. If you bring the the opposite ends together and gently press them against each other, then slide them underneath the inside clips on the empty left hand side. Press the steelbook closed carefully, it doesn't crease the the middle of the J card. They remain unmarked and can be flattened with no marks.
If you look, there's no crease mark in the middle of the J card. It'll flatten perfectly well again, even after being in the steelbook for months and months.
Definitely works.
