Also arrived this morning! Really pleased with it, the ribbon is a nice touch, wondering if we see more steels come with this now.
Mine just arrived. Spot gloss title. Full gloss rear. It's nice tbf.
Haha. Yea they could always do a little more.
This does look really good in hand! Although I need a replacement, as this one came damaged.

Wow, I couldn't tell if it was spot glossed or not from @Beersandblurays photos. I thought it was originally, then i thought it wasn't, now it is. Bonus. Silly me
Also received mine. Matte kinda suits the film tbf, and the spot-gloss title makes it look quite classy IMO.
Happy to see this also. I've voiced my hatred for the glue many times on here, so glad to see they're finally listening!
Yup! Hate glue dots with a passion so hopefully this is a start towards glue free packaging

Nah, can't see anything on your's. Must be an isolated instance, which is good, as there is a point in me getting a replacement.

Here's a macro shot. It's the depth of print resolution. You can see it's not too high. The DPI is mediocre and then a thin layer of gloss. You to take into account the reflection on my original shot.
It looks perfectly fine in hand.
Another macro of the same section. The further you get I, the worse it looks, but there is nothing at all wrong. Most steel art would have the same lack of resolution.

What you did to that J-card is barbaric! - some would say...
I don't actually fold them like most people do. If you bring the the opposite ends together and gently press them against each other, then slide them underneath the inside clips on the empty left hand side. Press the steelbook closed carefully, it doesn't crease the the middle of the J card. If you look, there's no crease mark in the middle of the J card. It'll flatten perfectly well again, even after being in the steelbook for months and months.
Definitely works.
