Never bought any of this series. Good quality?
I own The Lighthouse and Color out of Space first editions. They are nice, really like the slipbox that came with the second, it's no higher quality than a regular slipcover but it had nice embossing. Overall the quality on both was nice enough to justify the few extra quid.

Really depends if you're bothered about the booklet or not with this one. I presume whatevers in it will get released in a full art book anyway.

I've taken the plunge with this one. This looks much better then the steelbooks I think, and hopefully it'll go nicely with my Nolan digibooks.

The first in the series, OUATIH, SET the bar high for future releases. Unfortunately, everything else in this series since has looked a little underwhelming imo...
Agreed. I'd much rather pay an extra £20 for something like the OUATIH set than these half-arsed editions they keep churning out.

I actually really liked the 1917 one and prefer it to the steelbook.

For completeness though (in terms of Nolan releases), I need this movie in a steelbook!

Way too much inconsistency with these editions...
I know the current steelbook releases for this movie could be a bit better but releasing an amaray with a slip and booklet doesn't justify the £30.00 price.
If HMV had done a digibook similar to the Manta Lab edition I'd have taken the plunge....
These are difficult and strange times for all, the movie industry included, so it would be nice if the studios and manufacturers could put a bit more effort in to giving us products with more of a premium feel, especially leading up to Xmas....

Just got mine through today. As my first hmv first edition, I'm fairly dissapointed. While the booklet is nice and looks quite in depth, the overall presentation and packaging are dirt cheap. I recently picked up the previous HMV exclusive delux Blade Runner 2049 and the Full Metal Jacket collectors edition, and was expecting something of similar quality to those, and it's not anywhere close.
