As far I heard T2 will not be done by HDzeta (China).... Something to do with rights, which they do not have/unable to get ;)
What? They asked for a Boxset deposit to make sure the collector will get all 5 films & they will be missing the crown jewel of the Terminator franchise?

Please let me quote somebody who knows;

''.....Shanghai epic is a agency of UPI, WARNER, SONY, FOX studios for distributing the DVDs, blu-ray discs and UHDs in china mainland. And UHD club, HDZETA, BLUFANS just buy discs from Shanghai epic and remake the package and sell it. That is why they don't release Chinese movies and only release upi, sony, paramount, disney, fox and warner's films. because those 6 studios encode and master film for several countries, that means many audio tracks and subtitles. And T2 belongs to studio canal....''

A company called Mlife will release (confirmed and announced last year) T2 after release in theatre in China (mainland) ;)

If that's the case then HDZeta better be prepared to start sorting out some refunds
I believe the initial box set deposit was refunded with the Terminator: Rise of the Machines GB.

- Terminator, USD 125 + USD 25 deposit
- Terminator Genisys, USD 163
- Terminator Salvation, USD 132
- Terminator: Rise of the Machines, USD 106

Genisys was more expensive as it was a new release back then.

The RotM box set invoice PM from Alex actually has: "Here is the last boxset for this series and below is the payment info."

I confess that I read that as "the last for quite a long time while we wait for T2" (with the upcoming, new 3D remaster).

If they can't release T2, well, ..., that will be disappointing :smashed:

Anyway, back to the FilmArena T2 steelbook thread :sorry:

A lot of the collectors invested in one retailer. I always thought they were just waiting for the new 3D transfer to go forward. Hope @wxlinkswd can give some much needed info/update if this is pushing through.

Still I'm excited with what FA can come up with this one.

Hopefully Karel will be able to get more than 40 copies of this for the GB!!

Would hate to miss out on this. Especially as I've got the previous 3 :ohno:

We just can't seem to find one premium retailer that will just release every single one. FA are missing T4, Zeta are missing T2, Nova, Kimchi and PA having a poke at the others....

i still think there version 2 description is as from there web page is brillant, have a read and tell me what you think.
im wondering if we are getting a free meal myself :D

3 DISCS: 3D BLU-RAY + 2D BLU-RAY DIGITALLY RESTAURANT + 2D BLU-RAY ORIGINALLY MASTERED

unfournately for me they became a joke along while ago and then got very greedy on there prices as well and in the end they are no blufans, for me just moved onto blufans yes you pay the money there but quality is second to none and film arenas lenti just aren't a patch in comparsion.

anyway they made there bed they can lay in it

basil
