Yes direct means FA will ship it to you directly, but I dont know their shipping prices, all I know they are pretty high as well, but still think it´s cheaper option than GB.

Normally by Czech post, the shipping price with tracking number for one XL would be 270~ CZK within EU and 360 for ROW.

Based on the quotes on the FA website the cheapest direct shipping is easily over 50% of the item price so the GB still ends up cheaper for me.
But if it's going to be direct shipping from now on with a two-month wait I'm going to have to reconsider future FA GBs unfortunately.

And all this mostly because of f00king XL invention, thank them for that . XL is their argument for jacking the price up a bit, and also it makes higher shipping cost because of more weight. Bloody XL gimmick, it´s total BS from the beginning, it´s not even a nice anymore, the size is just over the top.

XL invention definitely hasn't helped.. Bring back the regular Classic style FullSlips I say.. This XL business is more trouble than it's worth and I certainly don't prefer it to a regular fullslip. If it's about cramming as many goodies in (i.e. post cards etc ) which I think it is, as with the added folder etc, I'd far rather they go back to basics reminiscent of the good old days. Obviously won't happen though *sigh*

Where are you seeing direct? Looks to me the GB's still rely on Carl posting them once he has them

In the title of the GB posts. None of the previous FA GBs has that word so that really stood out - unless that just means they'll be shipped directly once Karel has them in hand?

Keep in mind VAT is taken off for most of the world which is big savings. Like for me its about $140 shipped for both which right around singles from BFs
