It was the era of John Alvin, Bob Peak, Drew Stuzan, Richard Amsel, etc.
Obviously- this art is not a representation of that.

yes, i agree - 80s had some of the best poster art, but also some of the worst on the straight to DVD releases. this reminds me of those.
