I think I'm doomed to never get this release.

My original never showed up, contacted Rarewaves for a replacement - still never showed up but had other Rarewaves orders arrive.

I appreciate due diligence should be done in-house before any release date but as a potential failsafe... I wonder how these things still happen, when these companies are sending out multiple reviews copies to all the Youtuber expert reviewers well in advance of release...

Sent an email just now and got an immediate reply. Great to see SS acknowledge and rectify the issue (not that i noticed it anyhoo lol) as quickly as they have. Still my favourite release of the year!

I did not get an auto reply and lot of others on x and Facebook based outside UK also mentioned they did not get a reply.
Gmail I use

Seems to be a common occurrence with them according to other forums. I also recently received 4 out of 5 of my items the same day, with the 5th item finally arriving a week later... pretty weird, but just got to be patient.

They'll have recalled the stock for replacement id imagine.

I don't think I'll bother with a replacement, as I only bought it for the other, extended version, and printed goodies, and have plenty of other releases, including the recent Imprint one.

I’m impressed with the set and artwork as usual with SS but I ended up sending mine back for a refund. Had a dent on the box anyway but the film just don’t do anything for me. Ended up giving the Festival cut a go. Only real positive I had was the picture was great compared to watching it one time 20 something years ago on most likely a sh!tty VHS. I thought maybe watching it again at this age plus with my extremely unhealthy love for found footage would ignite something new (I also really enjoyed Blair Witch from a few years back) but I still found it just as sh!t as I did the first time!
