I Just got a update email from second sight

Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us recently regarding The Blair Witch Project replacement disc programme.

We are expecting to begin shipping of replacement discs in the second week of February. We had hoped it may be sooner but due to the Christmas and New Year period, manufacturing is taking longer than expected. We will email again to confirm when discs are being sent.

If you have emailed us with either your 5 digit Second Sight order number and address, or your proof of purchase and address if purchased elsewhere, you do not need to do anything else. Please take this as confirmation we have received your email.

Thanks for your patience.

Kind regards,

Second Sight Films

Just wanted to share in here if someone wanted to know how to tell the new and old discs apart, for example if you were buying second hand and want to know if it's the newer disc. The only visual difference seems to be some added text that says "VERSION 2" on the end of bottom line of the text on the very right of the disc as seen below:

(the red arrow is, hopefully obviously, not part of the disc)

I’m still waiting to receive the replacement disc

Has anyone in Republic of Ireland or other countries based outside UK still waiting to get delivery of the replacement disc or got delivery

Strange you got replacement disc shipped to Germany
I’m based in Republic of Ireland and still waiting
UK to Ireland usually only takes 2- 10 days max standard post
probably quite a bit of work for them... i contacted them pretty much immediately, so maybe I was just higher up their list

I contacted them on the first day it was announced in November 2024 about a replacement program and later after a delay of a few days got an email reply they received my info
I then got the same email update we all got on February 7 Replacement Discs Now Shipping and delivery expected by end of the month and to contact them if you don't receive the disc by end of the month

I replied to that February 7th email on February 28 but just got this auto reply that same day below
Thank you for sending details of your purchase. This has been logged on our database for a replacement disc to be sent to you when ready. We are expecting to begin shipping these in the second week of February;
Thanks for your patience while we rectify this.

I can understand a delivery address in USA would take a while for delivery but UK to Ireland should have been just a few days a week at most even if standard post was used
