As nice as it is there's something about the art that bothers me a little. Having not seen the film it feels like an odd choice for the cover not to go with more colourful art or one that also features the Heron, again I say that with complete ignorance of the film but my first thought was it was from a different Ghibli film.

Agree. That's way nicer than the UK too but this is hopefully 360° wraparound and will be as beautiful on the back as it is on the front.

Downside will be no English subs. Means buying it twice.
So not really worth it. That art is a beaut though.

The inside of the US steelbook features a wraparound image the Heron, but I see what you are saying.

Personally having seen the movie I think the SF steel suits it well. I did like the poster included with it that had the boy and heron opposite each other too though.
