It's a fun, light quirky caper movie. I really like it, but I can understand that it might come off as trying too hard to be quirky for some people. It's really nice to look at with a strong European influence visually, and takes liberally from all time periods of the past. It's weirdly cast as well, but they all do pretty well with the material... except for maybe Rachel Weisz because I'm really not a fan. Anyway, same guy made Brick and Looper, and he's someone that knows what he's doing.
