I need to see the steelbook. Wouldn’t mind upgrading to 4K for the first film. I don’t care about the rest. They’re nothing on the first film

I'll never use amazon Italy again after recently returning a faulty item...
They asked me for photo id, which I reluctantly gave them, then they asked for a photo of the proof of return...
Basically had to jump through hoops, then they said they couldn't assist further regarding my refund as I didn't return the item using a tracked service and they needed a tracking number to issue one. I basically ended up with no item and no refund
The item was never confirmed as received by amazon so I had to do a chargeback via my credit card company.
Shockingly bad customer service...

More than likely, the steelbook's gonna be the same as the US & Italy. (Not sure if the back art is really just plain black, but this is the latest update on the steelbook)
And the CE will probably include your standard stuff: art cards, poster, and perhaps a booklet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This literally happened to me with Amazon Germany 2/3 years ago and not used them since. The item I sent back to them kept getting refused by them and ending back at my door 2 months later each time. And I followed all their instructions and the address they gave me to send it back to. Because you can’t send it back with their tracked service from the U.K. I had to pay shipping twice never got refunded for that or the item cost because In the end they never received it and thought I was lying. After the second time it arrived back at my door I gave up. And I know it was all b0llocks because I was sending stuff out to HatredHorror and JBT around the same time. F**k amazon Germany

I actually like that front art but the original bossed HMV steel was better. I’d be up for a collectors set for this but not really feeling that slip art

I had something similar with Amazon France, not quite as bad though. Received a damaged steel, they required me to buy my own return postage but it doesn't go to France it goes to (I think) Slovakia? The package then gets denied at customs and gets shipped back, no explanation as to what was wrong.

I spent ages dealing with Amazon customer support and they end up refunding me the shipping fee but not for the item, no idea why they had to make it so difficult and waste everyone's time as it ends up costing more than just refunding for the order. If I run into those kind of problems again I'm just going to file a chargeback.

Which is quite different from Amazon UK and US, they've always made returns simple and easy.

The request for photo id seems to be a regular occurrence as a form of fraud protection, however, requiring a tracking number to issue a refund is absurd. I returned the item with a barcode inside which would confirm the return as received once scanned, however, despite returning the item on May 21st it still states in the order details that a refund will be received once the return is received so clearly not scanned yet, 6.5 weeks down the line.
Maybe they can't be ar#ed to confirm the return due to me opening the chargeback against them...
By the way, the returned item was the Longlegs 4k collector's edition steelbook...
Boy oh boy, what a trainwreck of an edition that is...

They are also releasing a steelbook in Italy with the same artwork as the box/slip for the French collector's edition, so who knows what steelbook they will actually use at this point. It would make more sense to not be redundant with the slip and steelbook.

Never had these experiences and I buy a lot of them Italian Amazonians
