No it's not new, I still have The Crazies on dvd and it comes with the alternate ending in the extras.
A lot of horror movies that I own from the 2000's have alternate endings in the special features (I Am Legend, The Butterfly Effect, 28 Days Later, The Descent, Paranormal activity etc)

Yea. I actually hated the Alternate Ending of I am Legend, but here we are getting a sequel based off its Alternate Ending.

Just received this Steelbook and will happily be purchasing through LionsGate Limited again.
They properly packaged my Steelbook with bubble wrap and a bubble stopper to ensure it didn't jump around inside the box.
