Even though I like them I can't see them selling well at these prices, you can buy most premiums for this price and it doesn't help they're just recycling the old steels (afaik?).

It’s crazy pricing. You’re looking at what should be a £25 maximum catalogue title steelbook, £4 box and £8 booklet. At best. Round it up to £40 to make em happy.

Good thing is I don’t own these 2 steels so I would really like them and I’d prefer them with the booklets too but yeah going to wait for a £20-£30 price drop depending on the retailer

May be tempted by the steel only variant if the 4K has Dolby Vision like the shout release did. Sony released Labyrinth with DV in the last anniversary release, but nothing for Dark Crystal over here yet.

Im staggered by these prices.

Love the movie, but even assuming the slipcase has tremendous effects (leather-like texture, foil stamping, spot glossed embossing), the price is ridiculous. And the fact that this and Labyrinth now seem like movies that will be rereleased regularly forever makes this one not feel urgent at all. The prices for pseudo-premium editions are killing this hobby.

For the price, it should include a poster, many cards and gold foil on the full slip.
