They should simply produce more of them or stop reserving them for group buys. But even Group Buys were too full for this release.

People should stop buying the same movie over and over again :naughty:
True, true.
But I literally have no LE Premium of this. I mean I got a UHDClub Boxset, thanks to Wreck, and various studio releases, but no steelbook Fullslip yet.
Now I do.
Now I'll stop.
I hope The Dark Knight Returns will be easier to get.

The solution is simple: you've put something in the cart? You have, 5/10 mins to checkout. I mean picture this: you're at supermarket, you've grabbed one of the latest pack of toilet paper and, while paying, someone grabs it, pays for it and runs away. Jeez I'm boiling...
Terrible idea cuz you’d have people carting them just to cart with no intention of buying and holding the stock “hostage” so to speak.

I didn't hit the queue at all this time. Must be pot luck.
This was the first time that I ever got the queue. But I was only there for like 5 seconds and then was able to finish my order.

This is exactly what happened here, it was like a 10 second-window to add and check-out but then it was already sold out permanently. Doesn't make any sense.
This happens with every Manta Lab preorder. When things go live the editions immediately switch to 'sold out.' If you refresh the listing page then sometimes it switches to 'preorder,' but other times I've had it stay on 'sold out.' But if you click back onto the listing page from the home page, then it should update to the active preorder listing (that's always worked for me). On releases that sell out quickly, you have to do this really quickly - like seconds. If it's Matrix Resurrections, then you can take years getting around to it and you'll still get a copy.

No. Then everybody would be too slow to put it in the cart. Same problem.
Not quite, the suggested system would mean if you get it into your cart you can complete the sale, the current system lets you get it into your cart, go through all the steps including payment only to find it's sold out even if you're quick.

I went from adding to cart, checkout, queue, paypal to out of stock notification on return in under a minute. System's working great.

I didn't all this time, funnily enough. I have the last twice though, and those were the only times I have in all the orders I've placed via Collectong. It must all be a timing thing, the amount of people who hit the button at the same second.

Went for an OC. Was refreshing constantly to release time and got in the cart and to PayPal within seconds and still was told out of stock after submitting payment.

Then went for a DL-B and got one just before it sold out. This is absolutely crazy.

I think there should be no group buys seeing manta have their own dedicated site to sell stock. For blufans I understand the group guy as they don’t sell direct.

I think the issue with the newish queuing system is that not everybody seems to go into it so it is not particularly "fair".
When you are the fastest you get straight to the checkout.
When too many come at the same time, the server cant process them all at once and you get queued with a timestamp of the moment you sent your request to check out to the server.
And the queue works like a normal queue, first comes, first served. It's as fair as it gets

No logical reason for group buys and certain no logical reason for group buy hosts not offering a group buy but still selling their allocation at insane prices lol

A further problem with group buys is that it would appear some former “hosts” are still getting their allocation, but that is Aniv-er issue…
