So cost of 1 box + shipping = 148$ approximately.

So cost of 2 boxes + shipping should be approximately 148$ x 2 = 296$
But we have already paid 40$
So we should have paid roughly 256$
approximately (this includes all fees etc.)
Therefore the 293$ MUST be including the cost of the empty box.

Except I just read the last 10 pages again and found this reference to the direct orders from the website.

Please note:
This item only for who ordered Batman Begins boxsets,price include The Dark Knight and The dark Knight Rises Lenticular boxsets,and 42USD for TDK Trilogy collector box.the collector box weight around 2.8kg,shipping would be 42USD by EMS.
The deposit was subtract from final prices,

But there is no reason to believe it's any different for the Group Buy.

I'll do my best to confuse people even more

$198 minus $40.00 in deposits ($20 each for TDK and TDKR) = $158.
So BB was $158.
So TDK is $158. Now subtract the $20 deposit already paid and it's $138.
So TDKR is $158. Now subtract the $20 deposit already paid and it's $138.

So $138 x 2 = $276.

So if the big box shipping cost is supposed to be $42 then $276 + $42 would be $318.
Which is $25 more than $293.

So no idea how any of this adds up. I'm just paying what I'm told to pay.
