An ultimately pointless thread. I appreciate it when HDN bring us exclusive news, but Zavvi releasing more Disney Steelbooks hardly qualifies as news.

Normally, I would say "Zavvi, baby, this is too much, even for me."

But in this instance, we're talking about Disney and Pixar steelbooks !

I'm a sucker for those, and I couldn't be more thrilled they're doing this.

They did a great job on Finding Nemo, Aladdin, Jungle Book (they forgot Bagheera lurking on the back but still, I like it) and hopefully The Little Mermaid, so I can't wait to see what they have coming up. Peter Pan ? Lady & the Tramp ? Robin Hood ? 101 Dalmatians ? The Aristocats ? The Rescuers ? Beauty and the Beast ? Mulan ? :)

Hopefully they will be released after the October surge. In fact, maybe it'd be even better if Zavvi start released them in 2014, while reducing their amount of non-Disney/Pixar steelbooks. They already have 36 exclusive steelbooks to be released from 9th September to 16th December.

This is genuinely an exciting collection, I'll be all over it.

EDIT: I'm giving this some thought. I imagined the title of the thread implied the release of a few Disney steelbooks - same for the Pixar one. Was it created for the announcement of a single steelbook ? Not that I want Zavvi to churn them out, but I figured this thread implied they'd provide a schedule of upcoming releases.

EDIT #2 : Oh, it's "steelbooks". Cool. Cool, cool, cool. Hopefully not until December/January though.

Great news though i'm certain the ones that are already in the vaults won't be coming out, which probably rules out Beauty & The Beast and Snow White, which my daughter would love

Zavvi releasing any steelbook isn't even news anymore. Talk about them spectacularly missing the point.

Just take my money Zavvi...... I personally want a 101 Dalmations steelbook, as the amaray was slipcoverless, and it would make for a really nice steelbook (and its my favourite disney films :p) A Bolt steel would be nice too! (what can I say, Im a sucker for talking animated dogs...)
