Are they doing anymore of these. What's happened?

Oh and does Zootopia count?

I don't think it would but that's just me. It's a World Wide Release with the horrible artwork so I'm not sure. I mean Frozen is listed but considering how much more of a Disney "Princess" film it is I thought we just let that one slide.

Zootropolis doesn't count. Thankfully as I was very disappointed with it and not getting the steelbook.

We really need Lilo and Stitch

Zootopia does count It is the 55th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series
Zavvi no longer doing numbered Disney Steelbooks Collection

They now have been been doing mix of live action films and also the animated films but no longer numbering them like previously
You can see both Zootropolis and the upcoming Live Action Jungle Book listed in the Disney Steelbook Collection
http://www.zavvi.com/offers/steelbooks/the-disney-steelbook-collection.list?widget_id=37598

Zavvi will continue to do Disney back catalogue steelbook releases as well as the new films but does not have to be a Disney classic to be considered part of the Disney Steelbook Collection it can be live action as well

Just because zavvi haven't labelled it, it don't mean it's not part of the collection.

Of course Zootopia is part of the Disney collection

If that's the case I hope they re-release Zootopia and Frozen

I don't get how out of place WW steelbooks can be part of an exclusive Zavvi collection

It still seems odd that they continued the numbering the last release being treasure planet. I'm still not convinced the others are to be part of the collection in the op. I think when zavvi get around to their next one the numbering will continue then.

Yes Alice and Zootopia, Jungle book etc are Disney steelbooks but not sure are part of the collection. I could be wrong.

They need to get around to the next lot, I want Lilo and Stitch, Oliver and Company, Winnie the Pooh.

The numbering is really just a marketing gimmick to make you buy titles you might not buy otherwise e.g. Planes. It means nothing really.

I like it, they made their own wee collection which is a really cool thing and I like planes ;) lol

the disney uk numbering is messed up anyway by skipping winnie the pooh and dinosaur and adding the wild to it. they should followed the official us numbering but that way i don't care about the numbers at all..wreck it ralph for example is disney classic #52 in us and #51 in the uk.

Well it was the zavvi Disney collection so they could have done anything they wanted to be honest. I just want them to continue some great ones yet to be released.

Some of the back catalogue animated classic don't have a Blu-ray release in the UK but are only available on DVD so these will be less likely to happen as a steelbook unless a Blu-ray gets released

As long as a Blu-ray already exists of a Disney Classic back catalogue title a steelbook release is possible if Disney consider it a decent enough seller for a steelbook as in a title that would sell enough stock to be worth doing the release

Problem is some of the missing ones out on Blu-ray already are not decent high sellers on Blu-ray as it is so Disney would be less likely to do a Steelbook for these

The following 10 Titles in my opinion would do well but the main one needs a Blu-ray release but most are already available on Blu-ray
Some would sell out quickly and some have decent sales but a few would not sell quickly and retailer would be left with stock unsold
1)The Black Cauldron (Needs a Blu-ray release and would be the one that would sell out quickly)
2)The Great Mouse Detective
3)The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
4)
Winnie the Pooh
5)Bolt
6)Lilo & Stitch
7)Oliver And Company
8)The Rescuers Down Under
9)Fantasia 2000
10)Atlantis

The below older Disney Classics are very unlikely to see a individual steelbook or even get a Blu-ray release but might be a good idea to do as a collection in one steelbook but these are not available on Blu-ray
6. Saludos Amigos
7. The Three Caballeros
8. Make Mine Music
9. Fun and Fancy Free
10. Melody Time
11. Ichabod & Mr Toad

This is my point but no one seems to catch on lol.
It's frustrating reading "but Zootopia and etc don't count"

Who cares if zavvi label them. They are the Disney collection anyway.

My muppets viva is in my collection for example therefore the Disney collection. Simples
Some might have the zavvi steel. Same difference
Same as saving mr banks and Tomorrowland etc
