With regards to the 'buying because it's part of a collection' debate, I'm more than happy to create my own Disney collection which excludes the modern titles. It won't bug me at all that Planes and Wreck It Ralph aren't there.

You guy's have made me contemplate planes so much. Cancelled it for now anyway, not like its going to sell out any time soon. If in hand pictures show it's glossy, I'll have to pick it up

I'm still waiting for Little Mermaid and Fantasia to drop in price. The demand for these has dropped, not even the 'ultra-limited' Dumbo is still available!

I'd love to get "The Black Cauldron", both "Rescuers" movies and "Treasure Planet" as Steelbooks. For me, absolute great underrated movies. Especially the first named one would make me scream. But it has to be released on Blu-Ray first. As Disney doesn't really like this flick, it can still take some time. I hope, at least for the 30th Anniversary in 2015, they get the Blu-Ray Disc ready. And as for the Steelbook, please just the Horned King and the cauldron with all metallic shine - now that would be impressive.

I've skipped both Planes and Fantasia out of this wave but have or in the process of getting the rest. Missing the Little Mermaid, but still not sure I want to drop $50 on a steelbook just for my "future daughter", lol.

Hope #10 ends up being Hercules, but doubt it.

I agree. The modern ones are nothing like our classics. But wreck it Ralph is an awesome movie. But you gotta get the blu fans with the 3D slip :D

Mr Hoyt-haha, the studio dictates what titles they want to release, and if it was part of the overall package, then it was. It's a new release which is their bread and butter on new release day-all opportunities to sell those titles at the studio level will be taken. Fortunately, everyone can simply choose what to purchase and what not to purchase:) :scat:

too much use of the colour blue in that collection. although besides all merely being disney films, the colour blue seems to be the only design theme running through this 'collection'
