Just cancelled 101 Dalmatians and Lady and the Tramp.

I'm sure they will go down a lot in price once released. After being ****** in the *** by Zavvi when I ordered Jungle Book and Little Mermaid at full price I have learned my lesson.

I wouldn't be so sure. The more recent Disney titles have much lower quantities and Lady and the Tramp is again sold out (and has been for most of the time its been on pre-order). It seems the demand is there to cover 4000 copies of Disney Animated titles (except Planes of course)

Depends in finish though. Similar finishes to Aladdin and these will be well in demand.

Watching the Emperors New Groove on Netflix makes me really want to see Zavvi, or anyone for that matter, release a SteelBook edition of this classic!

Its coming to Blu Ray in Spring in the UK, so it'll be a contender soon.

Also it looks like The Black Cauldron's coming to Blu Ray this year too.

I honestly think it would make a great contender for a steelbook. It's not the most beloved Disney film, but it has a small cult following, so perhaps when Zavvi sell out of it, it could become quite valuable as the years go by. Sure it'll reuse the DVD art or whatever the normal blu's art is, but if they didnt for a change, could bring out something quite creative.

Plus I've never seen it, so Steel it Zavvi! XD

Yeah, of course. Everything fantasy-related is a rip off. As each comedy is a Billy Wilder rip off. And each action movie a Michael Bay rip off. Come on, man. Actually, it's not, because Alexander Lloyd (author of the original novels) was a good friend of Tolkien and they inspired each other. Inform yourself a little more, before posting things like that.

Alot of people here said they would cancel all future Disney steel pre orders if the next ones were matte.

It was originally 01/12/2013
It was changed to 19/01/2013 then corrected to 20/01/2013

You must have had it ordered showing 01/12/2013 note that meant 01 December 2013
Zavvi don't update the release date in your order details if the date of release changes
and you keep getting every week a automatic email saying sorry for the delay

Release date was changed in November to 20 January 2014
They should start shipping this week most likely be this Wed or Thur or Fri

It is all pre-orders, not just Disney/Pixar titles.

True. That I know, but when I look at my order summary, it has yesterday's date and they usually ship internationally earlier so that people can get it closer to the actual release date.

As far as I know international orders are shipped at the same time as UK orders. The release date is supposed to be this Monday, so you should receive a dispatch email some time this week. If not, then you'll know there has been a delay.
