These disney / pixar collections arent really looking much of a collection tbh.

Theres no consistency with them. Some are lovely, some ugly, some matte, some with huge plain jcard, some with titleless front, some with printed jcard, some with comedy back art, one with plain background.....

Worst 'collection' ive yet seen. Just a random bunch of steelbooks put together!

Princess and the frog, tarzan, hercules, sword and the stone, robin hood, the aristocats, treasure planet, Pocahontas, mulan, Beauty and the Beast and many more are all great movies with incredible artwork potentional that haven't recieved steelbook treatment.

You misunderstood they're all vault titles, meaning they go in and out, only, beauty & the beast, lion king,sleeping beauty and snow white are currently vaulted.

other titles like little mermaid, aladdin only got steelbook releases as they've just been released out of the vault.

where as beauty and the beast etc have recently been put back into the vault, meaning it's unlikely we see them.

"Princess and the frog, tarzan, hercules, sword and the stone, robin hood, the aristocats, treasure planet, Pocahontas, mulan, Beauty and the Beast" are all **** in comparison to Pinocchio and as far as UK buyers are concerned it hasn't been released as a steelbook yet. Not until its released as an official UK steelbook release! Don't forget no everybody has access or the funds to get these foreign steels, but a £20 steelbook is a bargain...... providing its not FUBAR!!

Managed to Pre order all of them (Except planes of course ), love each and every ones design, except Frozen dont care for the generic worldwide release design, but pre ordered anyway)

I have just seen the two mystery ones are Bambi and Cinderella. They are fine, but why are they picking ones that have been released a thousand times. I was hoping for Robin Hood, The Incredible Journey, The Rescuers, Return to Oz, The Great Mouse Detective, and would really like Beauty and the Beast

Frozen like Monsters University and The Lone Ranger have the same theme in that they have no wording on the front and spine. This allows Disney to use the same artwork world wide, bearing in mind that they are new releases.
The other steels that Zavvi are releasing being exclusive to them have the titles in them. They are only available from Zavvi and not from any other retailers.

It really is unfortunate. A few years back as Disney was just getting started with steel cases, I definitely saw them as THE version of these movies to own. I looked forward very much to having a really nice collection of Disney Classics for our family. But a lack of consistency, a lack of quality, and an over saturation of overpriced releases means that I'm backing out. I'll be sticking with standard amaray.
