Italy shut down 3 times because of Covid-19...it has to be a nightmare trying to get stuff rescheduled. And some of their suppliers may have permanently shut down. I feel some sympathy for them...BUT... they were having severe delay problems before the pandemic. Their reputation over all the forums is mostly terrible...I’m surprised they are still in business. I will not chance buying from them direct anymore...only thru group buys from now on. I have almost all of their releases and love most all. Maybe they need a change at the top...hire someone with much experience. Anyway hope one day they get their s**t together!

It's a slow process. Gutenberg can't keep up.

that's true. I will never understand why they don't opt for postponing the release dates as much as possible before the preorder, being aware of all the delays during the whole process. They keep getting cancellations, they must be wondering why. I support them, but they need to get better, especially at answering to all the customers that ask for updates. You cannot say "a lot of people ask to get updates on pre-orders, they're too many and we can't keep up", it's actually your job to keep the clients updated.

Slipcase and Lenticular editions was announced would have later release date even before the steelbook only edition was released

The Slipcase and Lenticular edition at the moment has a release date in June 2021 but that is subject to change

I understand your frustration I had some for a bit but I've just accepted the delays at this point because there last few releases have been really amazing!

There's absolutely NO reasons (translated to Italian; excuses) for delays anymore at this point. The steels are there for months(!) and we're waiting for some cardboard to be printed, fold and a lentil to be glued on a cardboard slip....


Is it a problem with suppliers who're not getting paid and therefore not deliver? Is it a 'Steel Archivey' being set up? Who knows

it’s taking forever and it’s getting annoying now. Surely the slips are ready and put together with the steels ready to be sent out? Or have the suppliers run out of ink again?
The director passed the other week. It’s already starting.
