I guess the blurays will be in the book .... that's rare when we don't get a digipack !

and that's the most expensive edition from Second Sight
 
That's really nice. Love the colours! Never actually seen the film despite wanting to for years.

I watched it a few weeks ago, prepping to buy this.
Was...okay, I guess. I think it's aged quite well. Rutger is brilliant in it. Just not feeling it to be honest.
Definitely for the enthusiastic fans from back in the day. Sure, it's a classic but didn't rock me. I meant to see it decades ago. Maybe had I seen it then, well, who knows I might have felt differently.
After the long wait. Decided to pass

Guess I'll try and get it watched first then rather than make a risky blind-buy... not that I can afford it right now anyway.

How heavy will this edition be with a 200-page hardcover book, you reckon?
I'm trying to calculate how to order best, direct or through a freight forwarder, that charges by weight on top of other things...

There was that Drive edition, but I think it had two thick books, so even heavier probably.

TCM set is 708g, included book is 403g. I would guess this will be roughly 800-850g depending on how thick the screenplay is. I'd be very surprised if it hits a kilo.

Yeah, I weighed Mean Streets with a 178-page book and no second one, it was about 650g, so figured the same, should be about 850 at most.

I have to agree. Although the film isn't quite up there for me, this is Rutgers best performance. He's absolutely ruthless in this role and should really have garnered many awards back in the day for it.
