My OC is due for delivery tomorrow. I've refrained from opening part 1 thus far, so I'll may as well keep this one sealed as well until five armies arrives. Hopefully see some live pictures of that one soon.

Caved and opened this and part 1 OC's earlier. Left the slips sealed for now, though. Waiting on part 3 for that.

Lovely boxes, and OC extras. SL's are near perfect. DL's... erm, well... the montage art is better than their LOTR attempt, but that's about all I've got to say about it. Part 1 is sharper than part 2. Rears are decent on both DL. The FS' suck.

You... you .. uhm.. you suck. Jk. What don't you like about them? I think they are actually pretty good, decent amount of glossy/shiny embossing/finish, also some matte, rough finish, then there's GITD on top as well.

The finish is good, I'm not denying that. I have the LOTR FS', and I quite like those. It's the designs. The LOTR ones are passable, given the films and the scenes depicted. I can't say the same for the hobbit variants.
