To me this is the only decent release from this wave. I got Jazz Singer, Casablanca, Grand Hotel and Gone With The Wind, and the colours on the steels are really washed out. It looks a bit like they've used a really low resolution image. A shame considering how highly regarded many of these films are. I really like the Jazz Singer cover (although that also look a bit faded - in a bad way), so I'm definitely going to hold on to that one for a while.

And btw, hello guys! I guess you could say I'm the new guy. I've been lurking for a while, but finally decided to post something.

I collected them all. Still some of my favorite non-special-edition, non-slip steelbooks.
I wish I would have at the time looking back now. This one is particularly interesting because some reviews point out how it may be perceived if released today. Since it has blackface in it. But alas that was the time wayyyy back when this was made. Makes me wonder if just excess stock never sold or if it was ever pulled. Shrug.

I got all these. Gone With The Wind was missing the special features disc and I also got the US Warner Archive release of The Jazz Singer as it has three discs

I kind of wished they'd done more
Yes, all classic movies with original poster artwork to boot = kind of special ...

... and certainly a rarity among the usual releases and multi releases of the same titles.
