It's No Man's Sky all over again... hopefully the constant delays are the only thing it has in common though and the game actually lives up to the hype (unlike NMS).

Still got NMS sealed on my shelf.lol.

It's all about rise of iron next week.

I don't mind the delay as there's loads coming out in October and November.

I can see it not being graphically superior to what's out there today (being that it started as a PS3 game and all), but I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the best gameplay experiences in years. Shadow of the Colossus is still one of the most memorable games I've ever played.

I don't see how in any way, shape or form the game will be able to live up to the anticipation at this point. How often do heavily delayed games turn out to be masterpieces? At best lets just hope it's not another Duke Nukem Forever.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to live up to the Ueda legacy, but it's just been too long to keep holding onto the hype. Best to approach with caution.. and if turns out to be amazing we can give thanks for a gaming miracle. :D

Just saw this on ShopTo

ShopTo are offering a free red, white or blue faceplate with the game for £39.85

You're making this very hard to resist! I was planning to pick the game up at a later date once it's cheaper, but that slip looks pretty nice and I also wouldn't mind a white faceplate. Think I might just go for it!

sorry about that, I was going to buy the steelbook but that slip is very nice.

Its a great little deal with the faceplate.

I put in an order not long after posting my previous comment. :p

Game's steelbook edition was tempting too, but it's more expensive and I preferred the extras that come with ShopTo's edition.

Thanks for the heads up! :)
