I genuinely thought the whole middle section would embossed too however having it in hand I can’t work out how they would do it with the image ending all hazy before the title. Didn’t clock that before

Yeah that's what i was expecting too. I was thinking like a hard stop up the credit, when it blurs, then the title as well. It may not have worked in practice, possibly why it was avoided. I do really like this, KK is the best of the 3 for me though. It really is fantastic. I like my FAC, but it destroys it tbh.

I'm not a fan of embossed steelbooks. I find that having a frame just for an embossed title ruins the whole steelbook. I much prefer debossed steelbooks like the Total Recall one from StudioCanal.
The only embossed steelbook I loe is The Prestige by Blufans.
I usually love an embossed steel, but I actually agree with you for this particular release. Debossing would've been much more subtle and suitable, as it would've given the title an "etched" kind of look. I still really like it as is though, so I'm certainly not complaining!
Given the choice over a flat bog standard affair, I'd still choose a more creative approach, but I get your point.
I must say, a cheeky mix of the two is the preferable way I like it. I do like a frame though as long as there's a detail worth highlighting.
It be interested to know how many (if not all) of the releases have the misaligned embossed title gloss. I think mine does. I know mine does. It's not as obvious as the first posters image last week but mine is definitely worse than the gloss on your images @Flloydo

It's not actually that distracting really, if you look at it cross eyed. Lol.
My steel also came with a free scratch in the gloss on the back and a load of under finish imperfections.

Please I need some help & advice ... Zavvi send me my order on 4th September ... on this date my tracking says :
- EXPECTED FROM Zavvi
- Your package is being prepared by your online merchant. It will be entrusted to us shortly.
And since the date 4th September, no more update .... from the carrier P2P and on my order status at Zavvi
I contacted Zavvi who propose me a replacement but they are a little dumb to see that the edition is sold out.
So what do you think about the tracking please ? Is it a lost package ? do you think the tracking could not be updated ?
please let me know by experience what's happening ? I'm living in Europe. and that's the first time tracking is not updated.

Hi, i had the same issue and contacted them and looks like their a little behind on sending these out, as my tracking updated today.

Don't have much trust with Zavvi , so as it's sold out, if they tell me they cant find the order, I'll ask a refund, tired to spend money with a customer service so inefficient.
Hi, the way i found out the tracking had updated was when i logged into my account to check the reply to the message i had sent and i clicked on the tracking button for the order and it had updated to today.
Surely you just wait to see if they send out a replacement? And if that fails then request a refund. Like @Bungral said zavvi do actually hold back replacements even when an item is sold out
That's normal with Zavvi now for delivery address outside UK in regards to EU delivery address
It can take 5 or more working days before you see any tracking updates after listing Expected from Zavvi
My Zavvi Ireland order for desperado SteelBook zavvi tracking only updated after 5 days and took 11 days for parcel to be delivered
You will have 2 tracking numbers
FedEx® International Connect (FIC) tracking number
Local tracking number
Local tracking number will be for the carrier who is handling delivery in your country that will only update when they receive the parcel
Zavvi website your order history click track order to get FedEx® International Connect tracking website
When on FedEx (FIC) tracking site
Carrier: click view more tracking to see what courier/postal service will be doing delivery in your country it will re-direct you to your carrier local tracking website
