So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

I would also like to know where he comes up with these prices, considering that some are available :hilarious:. Though, some aren't like Snow White and Terminator, so he's definitely going to take advantage. The prices are so high, but it seems to work for him and his (rich or desperate) buyers. He is sticking to those prices since most of his listings no longer have the "make offer" option.

There are a few eBay sellers that have similar prices to his. He's just the most high profile because he can get some truly rare steels.

And I have no doubt he is a member here also.

In that case, he raised the price of the Thor Japan release because of SlimJim24 :joy:

Slim really want's steel too lol ... i hope he snags a copy ...

So sometimes i have been known to voice my opinion which can get me in to trouble for being a tad out-spoken , but those prices are just insane , its just pure greed end of .. full stop !!

Not sure I agree with that mate. I reckon the Hong Kong w/booklet edition is more scarce.

It's still pretty easy to get hold of the Kr Prometheus - and at a lot less than £200!

Let me know where so I can snag a copy.

Once these go it be back to all the others available at high prices again.

If mr. high priced ebay puts up another listing that is 5 times the going rate I am going to cork him cork for cork.

How are you going to 'cork' him? :) :hilarious:

That price is F***ing crazy. I could of had a copy for 200 USD. That been said i hope he sells it.:hilarious:

this is from the ebay listing so its not even mint:hilarious:

It's hard enough to find a used beaten up copy of this and It's only fair to ask this money:hilarious: when there are probably in the double digits sealed copies left worldwide. The copy is flawless no dings, dents, no tears on the seal or anything like that, the only thing I must mention is that when you shake it there is a noise and I believe that there is a small piece broken inside the case, not a disc, the discs are intact probably a clip that holds one of the discs is loose and makes this noise. By saying a clip I am referring to those clips that hold the discs intact inside a case and there are a couple of them in the Japanese steels, one of them or a little piece of one of them, must have been broken and makes the noise. It's really nothing and should not affect the value of the collectible because it cannot damage the discs
