So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

I think what sellers like Socrates have realised is that there are steelbook collectors out there to whom $700 is pocket change. His prices aren't for the likes of regular collectors who have to purchase on a budget. I just skip right past all of his listings because I know they're intended for a different kind of buyer than me. Though some of the prices do make me chuckle when I see them on here. :movie:

If people want to spend 'X' amount then so be it. No one is forcing anyone to buy the high prices. If a seller wants to sell it for X and hopes to get as much money for it, be my guest.

If someone has a problem with a seller attempting to sell it for 'X' then live with it.

There are people out their with a lot of money and if they want to pay extra for it without researching for the best price you cannot criticise them for that. It's their money, their decision.

this forum is a great platform for advertising.the steelbook shot up over 100GBP since it was mentioned here just a few minutes ago.no coincidence for sure.

Wie Herausforderung Sie die vorschlagen, bin ich nicht einmal deutsch. außerdem würde ich sie nicht verkaufen, wenn ich sie besaß.

Le Grand Bleu currently £255 was in my watch list incase a miracle occured and i grabbed a bargain :hilarious:
Well out of my price range

Previous LGB went for £560 and don't forget these are not factory sealed and most collectors are bidding on what they believe to be open ones. There is a debate if LGB is even factory sealed. The IM is factory sealed so you can't really compare the bids. Actually it would be John Rambo sealed that has ruled recently with bids going over £1000.

ths thing is , that the like of Socrates is actually putting Value on your steelbooks , by not giving them away for peanuts, he raises the expectations , and allso the perception of the Steel book Value~ blu-Ray..

He allso has a Hell of a lot of stock on Hand , and he sits on it for a Bloody long time !! .

I havent checked his sales rate , as he doesnt concern me , burt he does have some nice steelz & I have noticed that he drops his prices periodically , if they dont sell !!

I admire him 100% tbh..

I mean when was the last time that any one got good Dollars outta any one on here ???? or even the going rate ??

It was probably Me who coughed up the Big Bucks :scat: and was taken for a ride , when I just taken some Meds or some thing :hilarious:

Predomninantly you have been able to get items slightly cheaper tham Market price Via The Forums , mainly due to the Fact , that you dont waste your time with Ebay Fee's, dont waste your time with PayPal fee's, non paying Bidders , ect, ect..

This works Mega Well on another Blu-Ray Forum Via a Selling/asking Thread Market-Place , where this still is actually possible to get items at lower than Market prices

Wer all know that If any thing is worth more than $50.oo the likely Hood of it being Sold on here is Slim to Zero :hilarious:

I Sell all my Crap on Ebay, I dont sell my $50.ooo items & upwards as I try to use them as trading tokens , but If members wamt top go to Ebay , then Good Luck to them :hilarious:

But I do think they need to be realistic about price expectations :D :emb: , I mean really its embarrassing to think you are/ have been a Member of a Blu-Ray Forum for "x" amount of years , then you put your items on Ebay fopr allmost 2 times the going rate :hilarious: What kinda stupidity is that ??

You deserve not to sell any thing If you are trying them kinda tricks as you know much better than that , as to try to take the Michael outta Evil Bay users and make exuberant amounts of profit :emb: ~ really makes me think ~ Does these guys want to sell their Items at all ?????

Remember most of tyhe members on here were at one time or another active Evil bay useres !! I astill get most my steelz Via Evil Bay :naughty:

ranting Complete

Yup, read about the debate on LGB. Like to see (If It exist...) what a sealed copy of LGB would go for on ebay
